Trash Animal Nouveau set 2 and 3 are ready for production! This series has been an absolute joy and pleasure to create. I had been terrified of making enamel pins for the first time, and thought to myself that Nouveau would be perfect in enamel form, and animals followed that, but felt too... benign. Then I thought "But what if they were Trash animals, like possums and raccoons? Animals that people think are absolutely disgusting but they're beautiful and loving their best lives?" This series then took a life of its own. Every time I posted one, I would have people yelling out their suggestions of what trash animals they wanted to see in this style. I realized how much people loved the contrast this series presented and their hidden love for these traditionally despised animals. I couldn't stop drawing them, and a third set came about in the course of a week!!
