Doesn’t seem to have pepped him up much, does it? He accepts what he is. He’s all too aware. But to demand that he accept that as ‘part of him’ is to ask too much. You’re asking him to accept what that name means to him. Minotauros. Slaughterer of innocents. Trapped beast. Monster. You expect him to accept such a name? Survival is hardly reason to slaughter innocent men, women and children. Such words from someone who, as far as he’s concerned, has no bearing or truly any idea of what accepting Minotauros would mean to him has no right to tell him to accept it. 

Rejecting that name is not the same as denying his actions. In fact, Asterios would be the first to tell you as much. And yet this woman insists he simply accept what he is? Resign himself to the pain and suffering he caused as being simply ‘part of what he is’. “Achieved... what? Don’t tell me... what I am. Don’t tell me... what I should accept. Minotauros is the name of a monster. I... don’t want to be... a monster. I... am Berserker. My name... Asterios. To accept... minotauros... is to be a monster. You didn’t hear the screams... You didn’t feel them die... You didn’t feel... their bones break and their meat tear. I... am Asterios. Master calls me Asterios. I am not Minotauros. Do not... call me that... ever again.”

Nope. She’s being plucked up in one hand and held at arm’s length. That hurts, you know? He’s fine with his hair being messy!

How does Asterios feel about the Master in Chaldea? Do they have a great deal of respect for them?

Master isn’t afraid of Asterios, so Asterios likes his Master. Anyone that treats Asterios like a person, rather than a mindless beast to be feared immediately earns his respect and appreciation.

what are some of his favorite things?

Euryale, Master, animals and quiet places.

He wasn’t interested to begin with, but calling him ‘Minotaur’ safely puts you in the ‘denied forever’ category.

hope you're fine with random asks! what would you describe as Asterios's 'type'?

Anyone that treats him like a person, honestly. Use his real name. Calling him a Monster or Minotauros is a surefire way to ensure complete dislike, if not outright violence. A calming personality is a plus. High-energy or those that are quick to anger have the potential to just stress him out, but it’s not an absolute.

There’re many layers of anger and self loathing to dig through, though. 

And, well... the inherent risks of dating a Berserker.

That’s as far as I’m gonna take him, but I have make my boy The Strong. All future grails are dedicated to getting Rider Kintoki to 100 when he comes out.

A monster needs an ugly face, you see. If he keeps the mask on, maybe people will finally accept his actions as his own fault! Survival is hardly a reason to kill innocents. Loath as he is to admit it, a monster is a monster.

If he fits, he sits. Socialization is hard. Asterios isn’t too keen on using his voice anyway. He’s aware of how awkward and broken his speech is. It’s a bit embarrassing, you know?

“Mmm... Master had me... fight a lot of hands. I don’t like them... They’re creepy.” He’ll budge, just a little, to lean his back on the wall. There. People can pass. Congratulations, you win. “Killed a bunch of them...”

“Mm.” A response! Not that much could be gathered from an indifferent grunt, of course. Judging by the Minotaur’s astounding lack of motion, it could almost assumed that the grunt roughly translates to ‘Now ain’t that a pisser’. Still, Ozy gets a glance over his shoulder, and a simple “Tired...” as an answer.
