I just finished 'Marigold unfold'.

After some attempts with styrodur dots, I returned to the styrofoam. And I returned to the well-tried concept of layering. This resulted in a nicely balanced and layered art work. Enjoy!

Fragmented Enigma

After I finished the relief, I wasn't happy about it because it looked too sharp. So I covered it with a thick layer of paint. This made the structure softer. Which I liked...

This time I created a lot more depth then I did in previous artworks.

The base color is black, the lower parts of the reliëf are varnished (gloss).

If you moved around the artwork, you can see the sparkle of the lower parts. So, this work is called 'Dark Sparkle'.
