Its obvious to me when people who post about canaries in mines have never met a canary. Like yeah the miners had a special device to revive the canary because canaries are one of the most adorable creatures on the planet and they make adorable little chirping sounds and honestly probably loved the sounds of machinery and people talking so it was probably loud and friendly with the workers. Sing/Sing 2 headcannons

Listen, I know that I'm late to the party on this one. But I'm gonna let the hyperfixation do what it wants to do!

Everyone besides Clay, Ms. Crawly, and Gunter have called Rosita "mom" at least once on accident. Her face always softens. (Except when Buster did it. He was distracted, and as soon as he realized what he said, his face showed only pure horror as Rosita brightened with the countenance of a sister who was just gifted some prime teasing material for her sibling.)

Rosita and Buster can't decide which one is the older sibling in their lovely and odd collage of a family, but are adamant that they are not twins. They decided to take turns.

That last headcannon makes it sound like it was a conversation they had about what place each person had in the family. That is because it was. It was during their semi-weekly "family dinners". They had another one after the events of Sing 2.

To everyone's surprise, the one Clay is closest to besides Ash ended up being Norman! They form a "I Love My Incredible Wife" club that Alfonso hopes to join one day.

One time while breakdancing, Nooshy looked up to see that Gunter had joined her. The resulting dance battle drew one of the biggest crowds they had seen.

Buster hides when he gets overwhelmed. The only two people who know all of his hiding spots are Nana and Ms. Crawly, but the rest are learning fast.

Meena, Ash, and Johnny have frequent sleepovers in Meena's backyard. During one, they answered the "20 questions to fall in love". They all strongly denied their tears the next morning.

Gunter has declared himself to be the "fun uncle" and knows just what to do to cheer up any member of the group. He knows everyone's favorite movie and ice cream flavor.

Rosita has a degree in engineering. She always wanted to be a mom first and foremost, but refuses to be in a position that she can't support her family if she has to.

Norman is a lawyer and is actually the one who got Marcus and the gang's sentences reduced to community service. Johnny paid the expenses in babysitting time.

Baking is Meena's love language. She has notes on everyone's preferences. When everyone showed up on her birthday with a homemade cake in her favorite flavor, she cried.
