What Keeps Me Grounded...A Rant

To be honest...I have never been part of a fandom before so I don't know if this is normal. But Oi the focus on people/places/things other than what Nic and Luke put out into the world is EXHAUSTING...

The latest round of OMG is Luke in Cyprus and a Pic of Nic with Jake, Hannah and Ellis.

Ok let's unpack for a moment. I DON'T CARE!!!!!!

Luke is allowed to go to Cyprus and have it NOT be about Antonia there are 1,000 reasons he was there (vacation, bachelor party, filming, work etc. etc. etc). And because some random restaurant posted him as being there. I DON'T CARE. He didn't tell us he was there, who he was with, and why he was there so again, I DON'T CARE. It's great that we got a pic of him though because he is adorable.

Nic has raised almost $150k for trans rights and has been all over the press for her fundraiser and calling out JK Rowling. It was to be expected that she spend some time with her friends with whom she is advocating for along with Jake. Guess what... I DON'T CARE that Jake and Nic were in the same picture or where they were.

Until I see grid posts, story posts, confirmation anything from Nic and/or Luke Directly. I DON'T CARE. We have given WAAAAAYYYYY too much time (and power) to the other players and in doing so spun a narrative so twisted that it's Crazy.

Ok Here's back to what we do know.

Nic & Luke have a real bond and love for each other - THEY TOLD US THIS AND SAID IT INTERVIEWS

There are no pictures that exist of Nic + Jake and Luke + Antonia anywhere on either Nic or Luke's grids (or Stories - remember the TT Link in Luke's Boss story?) And, don't give me that crap Luke that your IG is only for work stuff, you have lot's of "personal" stuff in your carousels (i.e. Room service Pic)

SAG...Need I say more Nic also added the story of her hugging Luke to her highlights.

What Keeps Me Grounded

So since joining this fandom in June and really going back and seeing all of the WT footage and realizing that there was a bunch of other people that were like ok let's talk about this.

Fast forward to March and wow this has been nuts. So much information, so many OPINIONS (because we don't know these people), and Theory upon, Theory upon Theory.

What keeps me grounded are the things that have been shared directly. Not from a side-piece, not from somebody that works with them. At the end of the day they know what they are doing and are sharing and telling us everything we need to know.

Luke & Nicola and the Trail of Crumbs:

Okay, so a lot of us have been in this fandom for a while and some might be new. If you're here, on this blog, reading this now, then I think it's safe to say that you see IT between Luke and Nic and are rooting for them to be together in REAL life and even our favorites themselves said they don't mind it and think it's sweet. 😉🥰

So with a little help from another friend and Lukola fan, here's a list of crumbs/hints that have come from Luke and Nic. I mainly focused on what they've shared, but I did include an interesting one from Shonda.( she knows!) I think all these things are FAR more telling than anything from the side characters. It's Luke and Nic's story. They're the leads and the ones we need to listen to. 😀👍

So here's a list to catch up OR remind you of what they've told us so far..since August:

LUKOLA CRUMBS

1. Sweet breakfast/brunch treat - Luke loves a sweet treat. 😉😋(this was the start of "Chaos Week" in August,  just one day after Luke returned from Italy and went back home to Nic in the UK) 😏

2. Scrabble board with Guinness ( a favorite drink of Luke’s) in view

3. "Drink your Milk" shirt pic ( which was very likely was Luke's that she was wearing)

4. Shared "Bless the Telephone " song in story on IG.  Lyrics very much fit Luke

5. Shared "Juna" song in story on IG.  A very sexy song. Also applies to Luke.

6. Shonda shares Lukola pic(borrowed from Nic's IG grid that Nic posted on July 16th)from last day of filming using "You're my Best Friend " by Queen in IG story (Note - this song was written by a member of the band for his WIFE.)

7. And then we have the fact that Shonda wrote a story about friends to lovers or coworkers to lovers, and says was inspired by the Colin/Pen story of season 3. Or IMO inspired by watching Luke/Nic😉👀

8. Nic shared IG stories with songs - "Birds of a Feather "by Billie Eilish  and "Talk Talk" one day after Emmys which contains lyrics about "getting it on " in a hotel room. Since we're very certain he went to Los Angeles wth her for the Emmys,  they were, of course sharing a hotel room...😉😈

9. Trip to NY for TIMES 100 event - both posted on same day( him from airport lounge, her from the plane)

10. Matching IG activities- online at same time,  liking posts very close together or nearly in the same time frame

11. Luke's hands visible in the background of pic at Nic's house as she gets ready by her stylists for Glamour awards(though by this point very sure they are living together) and you can see what looks like a wedding band on his left hand on the MARRIED finger

12. By October 1st, Nic's very special Claddagh ring had also switched to her left hand and being worn in MARRIED position

13. Luke and Nic liking post of his "The Shape of Things" costar announcing her marriage to her costar from another project.

14. Nic liking posts about Tom/Zendaya and one that mentioned Catherine O'Hara meeting her now husband on a movie set(Nic seems to be fan of reel to REAL love stories because she's in one of her own with her costar,  Luke Newton..😉🥰)

15. On October 3rd, Luke shared the "It's October 3rd" Mean Girls meme but used Polin pics and posted Xx - which many think is a nod to him and Nic. Her petite self, next to him on his left, usually. 😉

16. Nic's TIME magazine interview and she brings up Luke(and it was her who mentioned him, she was not asked to, but just did it any way) and says IN THE INTERVIEW - "People want me to marry Luke" 🥰👀 That's interesting, Nic. Did you say that because you already did? ( I think they are. Marriage truther for a while now. I think they pulled a Ryan/Eva on us..)😉🤵🏻💍👰🏼‍♀️

17. 18. Two Tatcha promos Nic did, were she flashed her Claddagh ring in the "in relationship" way, and the ‘demure TT trend that was happening in early August when all speculations on TT was she and Luke are back together, that one meant that she has seen the TT posts and she is in agreement! 😏🥰

19. Nic took a pic with the cast of the " Back to the Future " musical in the West End show in the UK. Very likely Luke went to that show with her and probably took the picture. Also, Luke is a big "Back to the Future " fan, so if he had no prior commitments that evening of the show, I think he definitely went to go see it too with Nic. 😀

20. They both recently "liked" a post about Guinness( one of Luke’s fav drinks)on IG at the same time and Luke doesn't even follow that account... 😏👀

Just Need a Rant

I genuinely do not understand why people are still convinced that A was in Rome with Luke just because she posted that video. Or that Nic is with JD just because of some pap photos of them holding hands like friends on a couple of occasions.

I just cannot be dealing with the comments and asks about these two any more, it’s exhausting!

If you think that L is with with A or N is with JD then you need to pay more attention to body language, facial expressions and you need to listen to words, both the ones actually spoken and the ones hidden between the lines. Additionally, do not take a SM post from A or JD in isolation, analyse it against what we have already seen from them plus N and L.

I’m sorry, and I know it is still all speculation, but even if Nic and Luke are not together (they are), they are definitely not with A or JD and I will not be entertaining any suggestion that they are on my blog any more. Look at how obsessed N and L were with each other on the WT and how they have both separately mentioned marriage in the last few months. Do you really think they are with other people? And besides, who would want to be with someone who is so obviously totally head over heels in love with their co-star?

Have you Noticed that poster foNt is oNly used for someoNe special in Lukes life? Well, it dawNed oN me today wheN he shared White Mars tagging Lucy Hale iN his story. Luke used CLASSIC foNt.

It just goes to show that he has a certaiN way of showiNg affectioNs oNliNe towards those who are closest to him aNd have a pretty significaNt meaNing. Let's Not forget about wheN he uses Xx aNd xx. He did Not use aNy x's for his Newest co-star.....
