Olympic village AU!

1. TK been following Carlos’ collegiate career for years. He’s a phenomenal hurdler, like a once in a generation hurdler

2. When TK finds out he’s made team USA with Carlos for the summer Olympics, he now has to battle nerves for two reasons—competing and meeting Carlos

3. Except Carlos gives him a polite hello when TK introduces himself and then ignores TK for the next several days. It cuts TK deeper than it should, this guy doesn’t owe him anything, but he’s so nice to everyone else.

4. Carlos can’t get close to TK. He’s been crushing on him for afar for years. Meeting him and actually knowing him would only make it so much worse, to the point where Carlos doesn’t think he could hide it

5. When an illness with some of the players causes a room reassignment to keep the spread to a minimum, TK gets a new roommate and finally gets some answers when he catches Carlos staring one too many time to be casual

I get why people are upset about the Nashville spin off being announced and there's probably a lot of LS fans who don't intend to watch it. I have no interest in it for now. But I really hope that when it does air, that the LS fans can at least not be dicks about it. There will hopefully be characters that mean a lot to a whole new bunch of fans, maybe people who get to see themselves being represented on screen for the first time.

There are a lot of OG fans who were hostile to LS from the very beginning and really bitter about certain characters and ships. Even now, when LS is over, they can't let it go. So this is a general shout out, watch the show or don't but please don't be dicks to the people who do watch it and enjoy it.
