In my creative writing class we were given a challenge to make a poem out of a poem.

The original poem was Edgar Allen Poe's Evening Star, with a little remixing, out of context lines, and continuation I present to you Midnight Sun.

Mid-time of night

Shon pale, thro' the light

Too cold for me

And dearer thy beam shall be;

And more I admire

Than that colder, lowly light

I hope to pray.

For thy cool embrace

To engulf my life, to become my taste,

Glaze my eyes

With thy beautiful side,

And gloss my mind

From thy darker tide

This is more so about the moon, but I still wanted to share it. So little honoring poem to Lady Nyx

School starts today for me and I can’t sleep, so I decided to draw

It’s a partly cloudy night with some storm, there is also a half moon tonight so I decided to make that an offering for today and it’s in a different style then I usually use that being more realistic/painting like

Finish priced I started last Thursday of Lady Nyx on a chariot

I really like this I think it really captures the idea of her fly over the sky and bring night with her

Was again away from my drawing device to make an art offering so here is a w.I.p I started just now for lady nyx

Had the concept of her on a chariot being pulled across the sky for a bit decided to execute it, I’ll finish this next Thursday

Things I do on Thursday’s and the 21st which I devote to Lady Nyx.

Take a cool shower a little bit after I wake up(cool because night is typically colder then day, and only on Thursday)

Wear her devotional jewelry(a black ring with a star on it)

Give her a offering(typically water since I don’t have enough space for food or other object)

Research her with any sources I haven’t seen

Post on this account(I don’t have internet sometimes so as soon as I do)

Add to my devoted Pinterest account

Draw a digital drawing of her

And relax when possible with a candle lit(sometimes)

The reason why I worship or devote the day I choose to Lady Nyx

Thursdays- I was going through the days of the week thinking about which should be spent as a devotional days for her.

I thought Monday meaning moon day was inaccurate while yes the moon is present at night it isn’t always and I thought that day could fit another deity while Lady Nyx worked with another.

Tuesday just didn’t seem like a right fit, I had no other reason but it did not feeling right. Wednesday also didn’t fit her, Wednesday is the middle of the week and just didn’t seem right.

Something was telling me Thursday it was near the end which I felt was fitting, it was also before the last day of the work week which allowed me to look forwards to something.

Friday seemed nice aswell but it’s often associated with scarier things or bad luck during current times, and that day seemed to be more tailored to Aphrodite so I wanted to keep it open for her or Loki.

Saturday just seemed like a wrong fit, something could work better then this day. And Sunday was not chosen because it is meant for the sun, something that ended the night and is more fit for a sun deity.

21- I wanted to give offerings on one day of a month as well for each deity I worship, so I could be put in a routine. I choose the 21st because I was born on the 21st day of a month. Since once I have enough experience I’m going to become a devote of Lady Nyx I thought I should spend a special day to me worshiping her and giving her an offering.

Sorry for the late post I ended up being busy this entire day and just got back on the internet. If your wondering on if I have a offering day to any other deities I do, the 13 for Loki. I still should ask if that’s fine but I think it should be.
