Space Thoughts
The sun and the moon are not opposites; the moon is entirely different but reflects the sun, but only on the side we see. Why do we wish on faraway stars when the sun is the only one we know cares? A space rock’s name is only determined by where it is, and every time its name changes, it’s a little smaller. Some of us wish on long-dead stars. Pluto is the only planet that matters to get kicked out of the planets that matter. Pluto was banned to the underworld. Mars is the god of war. Venus is the goddess of love. War is closer to us, but love is brighter. Jupiter is Zeus but is there really anything solid there? We say the sun isn’t out, but it’s really that we can’t see it. And yet, we always feel it and see some of its light, even when we don’t realize it.
