It is not depicted here but Asdis has Lichtenberg scars on both hands and wrists. She had geometric tattoo on her inner wrist. The tattoo cast Physick when Asdis channels aether through it. It aids in pain management and mobility for her hands.

what flower do you associate them with?

For Luka! I have chosen Yellow Byregotia. I like the meaning for the yellow poppy, "Renewal, optimism, bright side of things, positive memories of those who have died. Wealth, success", it really represents Luka's themes. I love how poppy is a wildflower and is small and bright like Luka is! I need to get Luka a Yellow Byregotia Choker a soon as possible.

For Asdis, I knew I needed an orchid of some sort and the flower needed a dark color for her. I also loved how the note on this flower was just "does not occur naturally". That also describes Asdis perfectly, so her flower is the Black Cattleyas. I need buy some flowers for Asdis's apartment, when I play her next.

For Luken, I really struggled on picking a flower for him. I knew his flower need to be more than just aesthetics or symbolism. I need as flower that is versatile as he is. I wanted a to a flower that could used for medicine or eaten, dyes and smelled good. I looked at few like saffron, cow bitter, chamomile, sunflowers, but I settled on Duskblooms.

10) How does your OC handle their mental health? Do they take care of themselves?

Neither Luka or Luken know the meaning of Mental Health. Luka doesn't need to examine their emotion. Luka has a blessing from the moon that solves their emotion problems. (Repression, Luka represses everything and they are happy like that.) Luken can recognize emotions very well in others. Its part of cold reading people, but for himself he ignores his feelings until he burnout. Luken can think to himself, This is bad for me, but he does it anyways because he hasn't learned to care for himself this way or cope with anything that has happen to him. Luken is self-taught in his sobriety because their isn't an AA meeting in Eorzea.

15) Will your OC ever retire? Do you see them making it?

Yes and No! For both Luka and Luken I have at least though of their 'happily ever after'/retirement, but I have though of the Worst Ending Ever (tm) for both of them. For Luka, I made the Queer Light Party/ Fate & Future to explore that very idea of what Luka does if they retire from being the Warrior of Light. Will Luka keep on fighting until its impossible for them to fight onwards or will there a time when Luka accepts that the fight is over. I lean towards No for Luka as I just can't imagine Luka giving up being hero without dying first. For Luken, he does have this dream for himself where he retires to cabin the woods to live his life peaceful without the hustle and to live out his days watching sunsets, but Luken is more likely to kill himself before making it to that point. He keeps he lifestyle, becasuse he doesn't believe he can anything more than a criminal. Also, it would a big change for him to Not be a criminal that he just doesn't want to put the work into himself. Maybe though. Maybe one day he can make peace in himself and have peace in his life.

11) What was your inspiration for your OC?

My original idea for Luka was not Luka at all. I was playing a shy, moon cat wizard, but I eventually started MSQ and I had to develop Luka the Warrior of Light. I looked two silent (literally) heroes for inspiration for Luka. First being of course Link from Legend of Zelda. The second being Black Rock Shooter from the anime. The I added in a bit sunshine incarnate from people IRL and the long time I had to go through A Real Reborn. Then, I have Luka as they are now. A hero that keeps hope and keeps going.

Obsessed with characters who portray themselves as worse than they are. Who are lying to everyone including themselves about it. People generally assume if someone's lying about themselves they're trying to look better but sometimes they're trying to look worse. Fun facts: I mixed up name for Luka for in the Halfmoon and Astral Era AU. One meaning graceful warrior and the other joy but I think HalfMoon Luka is more joyful being a living vengence spirit than my peaceful Astral AU Luka who avoids world to avoid the echo and has resist the call of the elementals to give themself body and soul to the Twelveswood.

Autocorrect always changes lucian and lucien when I want the other one.

Luka was nameless as a child for a while as Luc couldn't apply tradtional namimg to the twins as they weren't born they were found at the same time. But in the Gridiana AU the twins fought over who was born frist.
