Guess that bean! I've never had a huge sweet tooth, but these Jelly Belly beans have always really done something great for me. My dad would always take me to the IMAX theater when I was younger (back when that was such a cool thing to do).. we went to every new Star Wars and Harry Potter movie together. When he first got a hold of the Bertie Botts every flavor bean idea ( you HP enthusiasts know exactly what I'm talking about) we started getting bags and bags of Jelly Beans before our movies. Afterwards we would spend too much time guessing all the crazy flavors. It began to be a fun "thing" of ours. He would send them for Christmas and of course we would get them for every movie outing. I grabbed a bag of beans for the first time in such a long time yesterday. I had forgotten this fun memory of dad, bringing a weird nostalgic happiness to my day. Who knew such a silly little game could still bring me so much joy at 26 years old. I wonder if buttered popcorn is still your favorite old man. Have I told you today? ❤️️

Vivant. Grand Rapids, MI What used to be a really beautiful old church, is now an AWESOME unique Brewery. When we were seated, and looked over the beer options, I have to admit I was a little overwhelmed. How do you choose from a list of such off the wall options? So naturally I went for the flight. Usually I have one or two beers that aren't to my liking.. but I enjoyed every sip from this establishment. My favorite however is that little glass of glitter. YOU GUYS! This beer was so cool. Not only did it taste unreal but it was so dang beautiful (almost too pretty to drink 😂) Funny story behind the glitter beer.. the owner never wanted to put it on tap in the first place .. probably like many men in general... he thought it was ridiculous. From what we gathered from our waitress, he decided to give the glitter beer a go, more as a joke .. and now it's a hit. I even saw a man at the bar getting his glitter on✨ you go glen co co! So as we were sitting there, I wondered what Vivant even means ? A A bon vivant is someone who's the life of the party, and who enjoys life's luxuries. If you're a bon vivant, you probably have an active social life. A bon vivant enjoys fine dining and traveling in style — in general, he prefers the most luxurious experiences. Bon vivants are also known for their many friends and acquaintances, and their love of socializing. I feel it fits this place and it's occupants perfectly!

Not impressed. SYKE! This place was unbelievable, I can't even wait to go back! So where do I even begin? I suppose I'll start with the beer, since it is one of the best breweries in the area. I ended up getting the rubaeus nitro, and HOLY SMOKES! Hello summer in a glass😎 definitely not what I had expected, but I'm certainly not disappointed. I'm just going to be honest, this pink drink was so good, I'm not too sure how many were consumed....... Okay, second order of bidniss.. THE FOOD. Um, if you're ever there and DON'T get the beer cheese dip, I'm not sure we could ever associate. It was a little bit of a debate in my mind of whether or not it was better with the chips or the bread.. but by the time my second beer was finished with I'm pretty sure it didn't matter anymore. My sandwich and beer cheese dip might as well have been the only things on the menu.. because uhhhhh I'm still swimming in all of the tears I cried from its deliciousness. Not only was it a pulled pork shedded, bacon strip layered, pickle juicing wonder.. BUT IT WAS SMOTHERED WITH BEER CHEESE DIP. Okay seriously someone throw me a life jacket I'm still out here drowning in my tears. 😭😭 okay lex- your chicken sandwich was definitely dynamite too😂 Third order of business .. the Patio.. Definitely on my top five favorite restaurant patios of all time. So to my delight, this place had great beer, great food, and an unbelievable patio? Am i still alive? This place is a must to revisit. The inside was definitely a crowd pleaser as well. Sweet bar.

Proud wife moment. Of course I'm missing my Peter, but man am I so proud of this husband of mine. So excited for the following few months of overcome challenges, training with the tanks, and adventures you will have! There might not be anything more satisfying than getting to see that giant grin thousands of miles away!

Holland Market. Dog days! Welcome to the fam little Deli! 🐶 Had a blast tootling around with our new friend, she's such a sweet girl! Scout and I are having a blast living in Holland.. there's always so much to do together:) today we ran into an elementary school class at the market, needless to say the pups got a little bit of socializing in today!

Memorial Day❤️️ @ le casa What's better than a glorious day outside? 7 hours of smoking baby backs, back porch stooping with some brews, and some cooking & baking in between. Every single aspect of today was great, but you know why? Because of freedom. Let's not forget why Americans can all have days like today.. Those who gave the ultimate sacrifice allow us to have these kind of glorious days, so let's not take a single one for granted. Thank you to all those who have given their lives, we are all blessed beyond measure. Many of us have a connection to someone who is not with us any longer because they had so much love for what this country is all about that they could spare their life for the cause.. how insane, brave, selfless, and loyal is that? We are incredibly lucky America.. I hope you all remember that more than just one day a year ❤️️

Itty Bitty Bar. Holland, MI "A five star dive bar" It was a beautiful night to start our boozy bike adventures. The two mile trek went by so quick.. the bike paths around here are amazing by the way😍 obviously we lived it up on the super great patio while the sun set, drank a pitcher of sangria, and had real yummy pulled pork sliders. Successful start to the bike gang adventures! Can't complain about the back porch cigar either ;)

Howard B. Dunton Park. Holland, MI A little bike adventure this evening. Took a ride down Howard Road and wove through this quant little park. Lake Makatawa is just beautiful.. can't believe I'm just a stones throw from this view! Also, can I just talk about some of these gorgeous lake side houses, I mean holy 🐮! Be right back, running to make a few bucks real quick!

Breakfast at ….. the W’s house?

Okay y'all.. I woke up from a beautiful slumber today to a full delicious breakfast, made by none other than Drew himself . This post goes out to him for all the great accomplishments he’s achieved this month! Congrats on your new job brother! Ottawa Beach. Holland, MI We were lucky to snap a few beautious photos before the insanity of beach dwellers consume this view. I think the natural beauty speaks for itself here. Can't wait for the summer heat to enjoy the chilly Lake Michigan water. Nothing was more satisfying than Lexi and I taking a walk down the beach during the morning fog hours. Amazing reminders of God's grace y'all.

Dune Dogz. Holland, MI A Lexi and Drew classic. I've never been a huge corn dog enthusiast, but damn! This is the most delicious corn dog ever to exist in life.. I'm really not making this up.. it may sound a little silly, but just trust me on this one. Something about the breading would make any dog climb 3000 dunes. Only being a minute from the beach, this place will be packed in a matter of weeks.. I'll take one to go please! Pete, I'll wrap one up and send it on over babe. BARK BARK

Hops. Holland, MI Okay everyone, I am one of the biggest fans of BRUNCH. Honestly, I like it more than going out on a Friday night.......... So to my delight, after a wonderful morning of getting our Jesus on.... we entered this little piece of heaven, Hops that is. If you don't start off your experience with the Bloody Mary bar.. you're just wrong, oh so wrong. It gets better.. you get a tiny punch of beer with your Bloody Mary! Why? Who even knows. Just enjoy your added bonus. All the food was the bomb.com as well.. definitely recommend the chicken and waffles if you've never experienced that in your lifetime. You know what else was a nice Sunday touch? Those sick jazzy beats in the background 😎

The Royal Wedding. A smashing good time for a royal event. Lexi got her baking expertise on, and threw together some amazing Joanna Gaines recipes... orange scones, and asparagus quiche... Just in time for tea with the queen 👑 (or coffee in this case, sounded good right?) Why wouldn't you bring an English royal event to your own living room? Boatwerks. Holland, MI Hands down one of the best afternoons here yet! I mean come on are you seeing what I'm seeing? This happy hour did not disappoint folks. Sunny and 75 ☀️ Throw some breeze and some booze to your happy hour (quite literally a very happy couple of hours), and you might have to drag me out next time. So what's better than a great place like this? Great company. Man are my friends a freaking blast, thanks for letting me third wheel this summer newlyweds !

Good Earth Cafe. Holland, MI There really isn't one place I haven't enjoyed here yet. No matter if your sitting on the patio at some super great place on 8th or quite literally looking into a parking lot, EVERYTHING IS SO CUTE. This cafe isn't even in the middle of all the excitement and is centered in the midst of great old brick buildings and pretty landscape. Not to mention my sandwich was a pretzel bun lovers dream... can you say olive spread? I'll do it for you.. OLIVE SPREAD.
