Thoughts

Okay, so I'd love to see a 3rd Legends novel about the rainwing/leafwing/beatlewing battle for the jungle thousands of years ago. This is the plot in my head, the 3 princesses of each tribe are friends and their tribes are on the verge of an all-out war for territory. This could be the start of the Rainwing assassination tactics, the tribe plans an attack on the other two tribes and the three dragonette friends have to figure out how to save their tribes from bloodshed.

They risk traveling to the Night Kingdom to find the answers they need and almost get killed for trespassing in the Nightwing library the rainwing princess keeps her tribe from knowing the escape plan and ensures they escape.

 my Headcanon Nightwings have this type of colorations XD

the greater ani is a large member of the cuckoo family with iridescent black plumage found throughout south america. they are often found in mangrove swamps. the breeding habits of the ani are unusual; two to three breeding pairs form one large communal nest and raise all their chicks together. although ani chicks are able to leave the nest five days after hatching, parents will feed them for several more weeks if they decide to remain.

My Leafwing head cannons

their scales are like tree bark lots of variations and changes as they grow, think dragonettes have smooth reddish skin/bark and it toughens and gets rougher as they age, sundew has like small scarring and the queen is gnarled AF. horns, claws and wing digits are like structured like tree branches colors range from almost black to pale lichen green with some gold in there, evolved to blend into the trees so vibrant colors are rare. Fuck I gotta do proper art for this but I had to post it.

Fun Ideas for WOF

I have 2 OC couples right now, art for one but not the other RN. XD

A night wing(shadowscales)/M and rain wing(Cashew)/F decide to open vegetable farm/orchard just outside of the rain kingdom.

A mudwing (lotus)/F that likes to research ancient mudwing ruins and hyper seawing(Cygnus)/M that likes to bother her. he was kinda banished for being annoying so he derped around in the mudwing swamps and found her hahaha.

They start dating.
