lom didnt answer my incredibly critical question so im going to ask you now. So like, can you chew sand? it doesn't really break down more no matter how much you bite after plus it only grind against your teeth, so wouldn't it be more like aggressively moving it around your mouth and not chewing

The more important question to ask is should you try and eat sand and the answer is always no.

AITA for NOT detonating a bomb?

A few months ago, I (25M) put three nukes under my rival R's (28M) fortress, because he had been building up magic weapons and threatening me and his other rival S (30M) for WEEKS. When R visited my castle, I trapped him in a force field and told him about the nukes, but told him I wouldn't use them unless he did something stupid. He's a revenge wizard, I needed the protection!

Either way, some time passes and suddenly there's this HUGE explosion by the fortress. Turns out, R's friend Z (26F) tried to defuse the nukes (which I WASN'T going to use!!) and the whole fort exploded. Apparently she's alive, but she lost an arm and she and R vanished out into the desert after R threatened to kill me again.

If Z hadn't tried to defuse the nukes, nothing would have happened. I literally haven't touched the remote since I made it, but R is still blaming me. Am I the asshole?
