My hero academia chapter 262. What can I say except “What the frick!! This chapter is insane!!” Miriko managed to take down some of the Highend Noumos but still the cost it came with her losing her left arm. But she isn’t going down that easily because she decides when it’s her time to die! The doctor is struggling to get Shigaraki ready and is trying to have his high ends buy time but so far Shigaraki is only at 71% of completion. But the chapter sadly concludes with hawks being found out and by the looks of it, the heroes have arrived at the main base. What will 263 bring!? Who knows but I hope Miriko doesn't die!. This is why I love horikoshi, a great writer, makes any character believable and why japan is dominating in the field of comics right now. Where marvel and DC have lost their ways and are focusing on woke points and poorly writing women (ex: captain marvel, she hulk, Harley Quinn, Squirrel Girl, Ms marvel) making them once strong characters into yaaaas queen slay Mary Sues with non feminine charm or design...Horikoshi along with many Mangakas are writing them as believable characters and aren’t afraid to make them sexy, beautiful and strong at the same time. The spirit of comics may have died in America, but it lives on through Horikoshi who ironically was inspired by our Nation’s comics. This chapter gets a solid Plus Ultra/10

Fairy Tail 100 year quest chapter 50. Crazy how not only are we half way to the big 100. But this chapter in general. It seems everyone has managed to be back to normal and yet Touka wasn’t defeated/separated from the white mage? All of this didn’t weaken the wood dragon god but instead it caused him to become far more deadly and powerful? Why were the orbs placed for them? Was it to tame the dragon god or was it to keep him at rest until he would bring destruction. I know off topic but I had to mention this cute Gruvia moment. Juvia so concerned for Gray she wishes for him to be protected by her water only for her power to come back lol. But turns out the white mage was betrayed and lied to by something or someone more powerful being the dragon moon goddess named Selene. And ain’t she a beaut! Looking forward to what chapter 51 will bring, how the wood dragon will be defeated and the white mage’s fate. This chapter gets an 8/10 from me.

My hero academia chapter 261. It was a nice change of pace from the Doctor having great fear and knowing that releasing the high end noumos was a huge risk since they aren’t fully developed yet. To poor John Chan being confirmed dead and it seems the Doctor did care about John Chan enough in his own twisted way. What was also amazing Miriko is such a badass that she’s just getting pumped up and started to face off against the released high end noumos. What sucks however is will she make it? What are the identities of these noumos? And will they be important enough once their dna is revealed to show who they are? Some might be answered during this arc. This chapter gets a nice 9/10 from me. Looking forward to 262 but what sucks is a one week break and I don’t blame Horikoshi because of the Chinese, korean and “woke” westerners taking things too far to attack him, wish him death, and slander an innocent and great manga creator. Just because of a name and now because of birthdays and Miriko’s design....this is why anime shouldn’t be mainstream because people like this kill all things!! They killed comics, they killed video games...anime and manga is the last fighting ground to preserve nerd culture! Sorry about the rant but it pisses me off how people are acting with Horikoshi. I #SupportHorikoshi.

Fairy tail 100 year quest chapter 49. Well this chapter was pretty funny from Natsu worried about Wendy muttering to herself not realizing its Irene giving Wendy the steps to perform the separation magic. Happy being a little goofball not knowing who to choose or who’s more prettier Charla or Touka. But we do get a serious moment being Mest destroying the orbs and how even both mashima and his friend who’s on this series are self aware enough to address “wait we should of used mest to do all this to begin with” plot wise. With the wood dragon now weakened, what will happen from here? Only way to find out is chapter 50. And I give this chapter a simple 7/10

My hero academia chapter 260. This chapter to me was rather short but the hype was still there. Many on the mha forums were right to speculate the doctor that Endeavor confronted was indeed a twice clone but what truly shocked me was the fact the doctor himself does indeed have a quirk since he rather turned into a husk and aged far faster. Some can say it’s to display his great fear but I believe it’s a regeneration/youth quirk and the doctor used a part of his dna in all for one hence why all for one remains a bit younger. How old is the doctor really and is his quirk secretly him having “eternal youth” or “high regeneration” I could be wrong and again it could be used to display great fear and show how disgusting he is. However the rabbit themed hero Miriko managed to find the real doctor and killed John Chan the noumo (rip 2019-2020). Taking away the ability to escape and teleport away. What was great too was before it was revealed to be a twice clone how Aizawa and Present Mic wanted the doctors head and blood for what he did to their departed friend. I look forward to 261 and crazy how we’re now 40 away from chapter 300!! I give this chapter a solid 11/10 and #SupportHorikoshi for he’s a great man who works hard to make a series we all fell in love with reach to the top it is on today. Especially us that have been there the beginning (I used to read it on manga here back when it was only at 3 chapters and didn’t make my tumblr until 2 years ago since I never liked this site until now).

My hero academia chapter 259. What can I say except holy crap!! The infiltration has begun we got Midnight leading her own division to infiltrate the liberation location with Kaminari screaming that he misses his class. For those that support the Kaminari as the U.A. traitor, this arc could make or break that theory. We then cut to the heroes discovering Doctor Tsubusa is the one who not only works for All For One but is the sole creator of the Noumos leading to them making him the first target to take down and for good. To class 1A and the other students waiting for their signal to make the next move. To the hero Jirou interned with catching the sliding hero and exposing him as the traitor of the heroes. To the final conclusion of this chapter Endeavor confronting the doctor himself and the doctor is scared shitless knowing he fucked up!! Looking forward to 260 and crazy how we're only 40 away from chapter 300 after next week. This chapter gets an 11/10 and Horikoshi you did it again!!

Fairy Tail 100 year quest chapter 48. For many of those that'll see this manga review obviously spoilers are going to be ahead. If you don’t want to be spoiled. Then don’t read ahead. For those that don’t care continue. Okay now that we got that out of the way. The chapter begins with Wendy using the power of Irene to fight off against the Silk Dragon Slayer/Eater until he began to become more berserker like and dragon like with his power. No way to defeat him Irene appears out of nowhere within Wendy guiding her on how to use separation magic (but before that suggested to Wendy to kill him). Once he was separated and unable to use magic anymore (for a while). It is revealed as Irene was dying back in the Alvarez arc, she used her last remaining magic to send her personality within wendy and is waiting to find a new host body on the mean time but will teach Wendy and help her in great dire situations. And the chapter concludes with Irene about to teach Wendy separation magic to defeat the white wizard and in a sense save Touka. Personally to me this is some deus ex machina bs and poor writing. The chapter was good for the action but was actually awful for the writing on this chapter. I give this chapter a simple 4/10.

My hero academia chapter 258. We are in the beginning of what will become the biggest arc of the series!! Heroes vs villains!! Who will prevail!? Who will succeed!? Who will die!? This chapter begins with Hawks speaking with Twice and what goes from funny banter to Hawks thinking “twice is the most dangerous one here especially after his mind became stable” and he’s right to be afraid. An unstable twice was predictable but an unstable twice is now a big threat to take with precaution. We even see that Shigaraki’s League of Villains elite have their own sectors and even have their own elite team that works for them. Proving this’ll be the biggest battle ever!! Heck what’s even more crazy we see all the pro heroes preparing for the battle of the century and the students will be joining in. Not just 1A and 1B but all of UA and soon the other schools. This chapter gets a 20/10 out from me!! And like vocal pineapple once said what if this battle is the event that takes place during the beginning of season 2 (the one where Izuku battles against the silhouettes of villains on the cliff side defending a city). And what if this event leads to the prison break arc cuz many heroes will be fighting the villains but who’s keeping watch over the prison!? Only time will tell and here’s to what 259 will bring!!

My hero academia chapter 257. Well this chapter was out a day early today thanks to the my hero website and let me tell ya this chapter was great. Spoilers ahead for this chapter review. It only great due to the fact we find out what Nana Shimura’s quirk was, but we also find out the Black Whip User’s hero name and real name as well. The interaction between Izuku and long time childhood rival Bakugou was funny especially when Bakugou brags/teases Izuku about how he already surpassed him on one skill when it come to above ground/in the air tactics. To Class 1A getting a fun winter feast that they were going to participate with their rival class 1B it in this case class 2B due to the fact they are becoming 2nd years now. To Bakugou telling Todoroki his sister would be disappointed in his cooking skills due to cutting the chives poorly. We even get a nice All Might and Aizawa interaction to where All Might now wants to live and change fate from what Night Eye once told him he was bound to die soon and how All Might was to meet Stain. For what reason? Who knows but here’s to hoping we get to see that interaction. In the final pages of this chapter it’s an implied time skip where spring has already arrived and it seems things are now going to hit the fan since many heroes would turn up missing in these couple months that passed by. What will 258 bring? We will find out next week and this chapter gets a solid plus ultra +10/10

Fairy Tail 100 year quest chapter 47. Well this chapter not only was nicely paced for the fight but we did get some interesting aspect on how Dragon force for 5th gen dragon slayer works. It seems it makes them bulkier and in a sense a somewhat berserker rage. And far deadly than a dragon slayer gen 1, 2, & 3 combined. But [spoilers ahead] it seems Wendy not only got more character development but she had a trick up her sleeve dating back to the old series and that “it can only be used once” which I doubt cuz knowing Fairy Tail she’ll be able to use it again somehow in the future. Now that you read this far. The spoiler is Shes able to tap into an enchantment magic and take on her own new power up wearing something similar to Irene’s clothing (Erza’s mother during the battle against Alvaraz arc aka the final arc) and has a new power. What will be the potential of this power? Is this strong enough to take out a gen 5 dragon slayer? Here’s to chapter 48 to find out soon. I give this chapter a simple 8/10.

My hero academia chapter 256. This chapter is a nice change of pace and a little quick summary of what the students were up to during their internships. Glad to see things for them are improving and seeing them grow as heroes and into adulthood is such a sight to see. My favorite moments of the chapter however are Mina using her quirk to make her own version of Kirishima’s “unbreakable” and how cute they act (I’m a KiriMina shipper. Don’t @ me lol). To seeing Izuku mastering Black Whip thanks to the internship with Endeavor. Now we get into the juicy part of the chapter. Aizawa and Present Mic are planning on finding where the main warehouse of the Noumos is being kept at until the Big 3 interrupt them and tell them to see what’s up with Eri. A theory I see and believe will happen is Eri will be used on Kurogiri to see how Aizawa and Mic can save their friend. One bad thing is we have to wait until the 19th of January due to them taking another break. Looking forward to what 257 will bring and this chapter I give a solid 10/10 and a huge Plus Ultra +.

Fairy Tail 100 year quest chapter 46. Man it’s been a while since I did a fairy tail review but here we are. Well it begins with Natsu almost falling under the control of the White Mage until Happy (with some dumb luck). Turns out the orbs effect the body of the human form of Touka’s body hence why she needed others to destroy the orbs for her. The ash dragon slayer and his partner retreating since they were no match for Fairy Tail and need to recruit more of their allies to fight against them. What I found funny (the pic used for this review) is this is the first time Juvia doesn’t praise Gray and is annoyed on what he said. We then cut to the blade dragon slayer Kyria about to eat Laxus until she is told to retreat but what I found funny was she said and I quote “huh? I finally found a delicious man!! Just wait for a bit!!” In my mind I thought instantly “she got the horny”. We then cut to the silk dragon eater ready to fight against wendy in her dragon force form but it’s also revealed that 5th generation dragon slayers have their own dragon force form that is forbidden to use. What will the form look like? Will Kyria be able to “eat” Laxus *wink wink* and how will the white mage be stopped? Some will be answered once chapter 47 is out. I give this chapter a fun 10/10 and glad fairy tail is back after this long break.

My hero academia chapter 255. Well this chapter not only confirms the Kurogiri theory but we get an actual face reveal to being the dead friend or Aizawa and Present Mic. Poor Aizawa the strongest of characters crying hurts the most. But the chapter ends with Shigaraki going under his intense training to be able to secure other quirks. The chapter reviews will be on Sundays now since the scanlation team got attacked by shonen jump. So official reviews will be from Viz on Sundays now in the afternoon. However, I do have a theory that I saw on this site. Forgot the users name but they pointed out that Eri might be used to heal Kurogiri since she was seen with Aizawa and Mic during the page that shows the time skip (and also 9 on it) I think during or after the villain academia arc. But I’m gonna add onto that theory. This is what causes the prison break arc. All for one uses this opportunity to break out of his cell, Eri’s quirk goes haywire (due time seeing Overhaul locked away causing her PTSD to kick in) and it heals him in the process (while she was trying to heal kurogiri), leading to all for one to escape, along with Muscular, Overhaul, and Stain. But this is my own twist. Overhaul escapes seeking revenge against Shigaraki only to be the first person killed by his new power and his quirk stolen from Shigaraki. While Stain goes to Izuku revealing himself and to warn him of the villains breaking out (since he sees Izuku as a true hero). Then comes in dad for one theory. One for all is Hisashi Midoriya. Lol anyways the chapter itself gets a solid 10/10

Fairy Tail 100 year quest chapter 45. This one had to be an interesting read especially with the battle between Erza and Laxus concluding. Erza lost the battle but she also wins since Laxus doesn’t have any magic left (at the moment) and the Blade Dragon eater destroyed the orb leaving only two left the one where Gray and the others are heading to and the one Natsu is at. Touka did her best to suppress the white mage but it seems she lost at that as well and next chapter will be Natsu vs the white mage. A short review since this is early in the morning (where I’m at) and there wasn’t much to talk about in detail. However I did like the cover art for the chapter since I can imagine a teenage Laxus telling a teen erza a dirty joke involving a mushroom getting her mad. Chapter gets a solid 7/10 from me and I look forward to chapter 46.

My hero academia chapter 254. All aboard the feels train. Because this chapter will make you sad but it’ll make you cry if you’ve read the Vigilante spin off series (which is 100% canon) like i have been for the past couple months and boy...did my eyes produce waterworks. Too early to cry but the right time as well. This chapter is basically Aizawa and Present Mic trying to find a way to make Kurogiri talk not only to get info but if he is their deceased friend, to trigger old memories to get him out as well. Funny how Aizawa basically tells Gran Torino “this isn’t some shonen movie” basically Horikoshi’s clever way calling out the power of friendship trope (looking at you Mashima even though I love your work in Fairy Tail and Eden Zero lol). But what got me the most was seeing Aizawa cry. You know it’s serious when you see the badass and toughest man cry. To quote the cop from cloudy with a chance of meatballs “this is enough to make a grown man cry...and that’s okay.” Beautiful chapter. Here’s to hoping they find a way to save an old friend and looking forward to 255. I give this chapter a solid Plus Ultra Feels out of 10.

Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest chapter 44. Spoilers ahead for those that read this. It’s crazy how much of a power up both Laxus and Erza get. Laxus with his Red Lightning powered by his own blood (could you really count this as is own unique dragon force?) and Erza using special enchantments Wendy taught her using her two swords using the magic of her closest friends/kid brothers Natsu and Gray. But this chapter was so full of action. That both would take each other down only to one up each other and continue to fight. However, the chapter ends on a conclusion on who would be victorious and how the Blade Dragon eater is in a sense scared witnessing the power not only of Fairy Tail but of its two S class wizards. This chapter like this review was short but it got me looking forward to the next chapter. I give this one a solid 9/10.

Holy crap! Holy crap!! Holy crap!!! The new my hero chapter!! This confirms one theory that some of us believed to be true!! It isn’t the dad for one (sadly but it will be revealed eventually and when it is you’ll see!!) and it isn’t the Dabi one!! But it’s the Kurogiri one!! Everyone check out the chapter 253 right now!! As for the chapter itself it was nice to see the students return to the school, we are 3 months away until the big event. And it was nice seeing All Might back. A nice change of pace to get us calm only to take us on the rollercoaster of wrecks and we are thrown to Aizawa and Present Mic visiting the prison. I won’t reveal for what reason on how Kurogiri relates to this but damn it confirms one theory!! This chapter gets a fucking plus ultra times 22/10 from me!
