Reflection 4
When the Apostles were still alive, they were the leaders of the Church. They lead us to a better path in the hands of God. What can we do to be like them.
We, the people, are servants of God, but the apostles and the leaders in the Church serve us. They serve us during mass and they serve us when we are doing one of the sacraments. They do a lot to serve us without nothing in return.
For me Jesus is the best leader because he has great characteristics. He has the ability to lead the people to the good path. He is capable to help people first before helping himself. He knew that when being a leader, he is expected to do everything . “Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.” (James 3:1) But we can still help other people and ourselves even if we are just students.
When I say something wrong to a person, I will suddenly realize that what I said is wrong. This strengthens me because when i am about to do the same thing. I will remember what happened last time and then i will not do it. I was able to do this because of God.
Whenever i feel weak because of my problems, i always take a short break to relax and talk to God about how I am feeling. I express my love and trust for God by listening to him and not do bad things to other people.
We can be just like them when we practice it. Yes, we are not perfect but so are they. They had their ups and downs. And yet they were still recognized For being so helpful to us. We should be like them to help everyone.

Reflection #3
While growing up I always understood that as Catholics we have our missions or tasks to do. Until now I plan to continue this until the day i die.
The sense of mission is visible in my community because we have activities that are held in our local Church. Every month in our community has an activity. Once we had an activity wherein we asked people to participate in the living rosary. Or like before, we asked people to go to Church and after the Mass we prepared food so the people can eat. But we still have some problems.
Some problems that I have seen are that some people don’t go to Church every Sunday. Their reason is that they have no time. Another problem is that some people are not listening during the Mass. There are also some people who leave early so they can go home. But we can help in our small ways.
I can try my best to help people do the right thing. When somebody asks for my help, I will do my best to help them. When somebody does something wrong, I will tell them to not do it next time since other people might find it offensive. When I do something wrong and I know it I will say sorry and not do it next. We must be like our Pope Francis, who acts like St. Francis of Assisi. We must listen intently to others and then to turn the conversation to dialogue.
Not everyone is perfect. Not everyone can do anything perfect. That’s why we should help each other as Catholics to continue the mission that God has left us.

Reflection 2
The Apostles were here in earth thousands of years ago. Today, it is our job to be Modern Day Apostles. Knowing this we need to help not just ourselves, but also other people.
But first we need to know the qualifications to be an Apostle. I think the qualification for Apostleship is as long as you follow Jesus whole heartily then you can be one. You follow the teachings and you apply it in your life.
I think i can meet the qualification by not just listening to the words of God, but also to apply it to my life. To use what i learn from the teachings and to share it to other people.
I can be one by learning from the Gospels in a Church then I apply it to my life. My life gets better since i learn good things that i can apply in my life. It makes my life easier and better since i learn new things.
Yes, apostleship is still continuing we just don’t see it. At home, I can do chores to help my parents. In school, I will act properly and orderly so my teachers won’t have a hard time. In the community I can participate in activities that will help the whole community.
I would continue this so i can help other people not just me. There is nothing too hard to be an apostle who does good things for others. “We just cannot worry about ourselves,” quote from Pope Francis.

Reflection 1
This will be all about what I learned from St. La Salle. All about how I can apply what I learned from him and from his journeys.
La Salle trusted God and did what he asked. He knew that people won’t understand him at first, but in the end he did for them. When people don’t understand and say bad things to him, he won’t care since he knows that the things he’s doing is an order from God. La Salle has left us with many great things.
St. La Salle also held up Our Lady of Joy for a lot of reasons. She helped La Salle in his journey with the pilgrimage. He prayed at her feet while saying gown in Liesse. In the end, La Salle wanted her to be queen and director of his school. I learned that when we need help, we need to ask from God.
I also learned that prayer, faith, and community are key components in his growth. You can’t only have prayer and faith; you need both. We can be good people with our community. In short, we can have a stronger faith with prayer, faith, and community.
Whenever I do something, I feel nervous. But when i eventually do it, it felt amazing because I thought that I couldn’t. Like joining an organization and choosing this school. I was able to do this because I prayed to God to help me overcome this obstacle in my life. He gave me the strength and now i don’t regret doing it. ”Life is a journey. When we stop, things don't go right,” said by Pope Francis.
I don’t really think about my own death, but I think it would be something special to me. If something is so important to me in the future then i would like to give it to someone important in my life. I’m not sure if it would have a remembrance, it if something is really special to me then it might happen.
I learned so much about La Salle. I hope to learn new things from him while I grow up. I want to continue learning things from him so I can make my life better.

Reflection 1-4
Here we go again, another day another adventure. What is in store for me today. Will it be the best? Or will it be the worst. I just know that through good faith and core values, this day will always be part of a big journey called life and we will learn new things on the way.
Everyone has different lives. My life is different from others, but there is one who I might aspire to be. He is St. John Baptist De La Salle. I learned so much from him. From knowing that you can’t have prayer, faith, and community without the other to try new things and have trust in God. La Salle was able to pray to Our Lady of Joy while in a pilgrimage. I don’t think he did that for no reason. I learned that life has its ups and downs, it’s humps and its fast lanes, and it’s turtles and hares. ”Life is a journey. When we stop, things don't go right,” said by Pope Francis. This is one of the quotes that I think about all the time. If you didn’t do good now there will always be a next time. God will always give you your shining moment in life.
Another example are the Apostles. Anyone could be a modern day Apostle. As long as one is willing to follow Jesus whole heartily. Following his teachings, applying it in your life, and to share what you learn to other people. We can also learn from the Gospels. Learning from these things can help make your life so much better. We can see modern day apostles wherever we go. People who help other people cross the street, your seat mate who lent her own correction tape, or a teacher who brings joy to his students by being himself or herself while joking about a shelf. We must be modern day apostles to help other people in need. We should be open minded about these things. In order to make the world a better place, we should help each other. “We just cannot worry about ourselves,” said by Pope Francis.
We can help other people in need in big or small ways. Like in our Church, we host activities after the mass for the people. Once it was games and prizes the next was food. We do this every so often to help people. But there some people who don’t go to Church so often. We must tell them to respect the sabbath day so they can be blessed by God. We can just simply tell them to try and make time for God even if it’s just for one hour. I have learned from this experience to like our Pope Francis, who acts like St. Francis of Assisi. We must listen intently to others and then to turn the conversation to dialogue. We do this to help them by understanding their problems.
We are the servants of God but the Apostles and the leaders of the Church serve us. They help us with no intention of getting anything in return. For me, Jesus is the best leader. He has the ability to lead other people and to prioritize them before himself. He knew that when being a leader, he is expected to do a lot. “Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.” (James 3:1). He taught me to realize my mistakes and say my apologies. He helped me to put trust on God when I am in need. So whenever I feel tired, I talk to God and vent out all of my feelings to feel much better.
Everything in our life is important. We can’t change the past to make the outcome better. There are no second chances. We must make our present selves the best selves so we can avoid regrets. Regrets that can hurt ones being. We need to be the people who help other people for no absolute reason. We must be the change that the world wants us to see. What God wants to see. We are the children of God, we have learned so much from them and we have applied it in our lives. Jesus was able to sacrifice himself for us. What are we willing to sacrifice for others?
