Elvis completed the recording of the soundtrack of “Wild In The Country” between 9 and 11:45 am. There were 2 different versions of “I Slipped, I Stumbled, I Fell” recorded. One for the movie and the other for a single release.

the way he glimmered when he sweat. like millions of tiny diamonds reflecting the light of his soul. his beauty and power and vulnerability. it’s GLORIOUS.

so i’m trademarking the phrase:

bc we all have those things that we either love or look past with him that would never fucking fly with anyone else lol

i mean could someone else be sexy when they sweat? potentially. as sexy as elvis? ha nope.

I know this look is not for everyone, but I absolutely love these pictures. First of all, I believe he totally pulls this look off. I mean, that coat is amazing. (I hope it’s clear by now that you will really never catch me criticizing how he looks. My soft heart will not allow it because he always looks perfect to me).

The other reason I love these though is because of how they show his dedication to his fans. The story is that he felt like he was having a bad hair day and didn’t want to be seen in public like that. Instead of just canceling and saying he didn’t feel well, this man just grabbed a turban (and of course that killer coat and jewelry) and was like, “let me go sign some autographs.”

The way he never wanted to let anyone down is so sweet, and it’s hard to think of many other artists who have this devotion to their fans (and us to him). I hope he knows now that he could never let us down. I know so many of us love him unconditionally, and that is a precious thing. ❤️
