**Real Estate Fun Fact**
Believe it or not, paranormal activity can have a significant impact on the real estate market. A survey conducted by Cinch Home Services revealed that 1 in 10 Americans have sold their home due to a paranormal experience.
What’s even more surprising is that some sellers disclose these spooky encounters when putting their homes on the market. The presence of ghosts or other supernatural phenomena can deter potential buyers and lead to homes being sold at lower prices or lingering on the market for longer periods.

Spruyt Waterwoningen Nederland is a series of experimental floating homes in the Netherlands that are designed to adapt to rising sea levels. Floating homes are becoming more popular as climate change increases interest in alternative accommodation options. Some floating homes are supported by concrete "tubs" that are half a storey submerged in water, and then a lightweight steel construction is built on top. This construction can be filled with glazing and brightly colored plastic paneling. Other floating homes have pontoons that provide a stable foundation that allows the structure to move as water levels rise and fall. Renewable energy is also drawn from solar panels above and beneath the water.
