What does he feel? I think he can feel things, like he can feel pressure when you take his hand but not the warm, when he falls he feels the impact but not the pain; he has proprioception and some sense of touch and vestibular system, but he's not overly sensitive.

So pain, when Elphaba reaches the stage of the pregnancy where you can feel the baby move, Fiyero tries to feel it, but he can't.
