Hello! I'm raising money because I realized there's a number of things I need some help affording right now in order to do my best work, especially with making videos; i.e. upgrading to a yearly video editing subscription on CapCut, subscribing to Luna Astrology to use for my studies & for my readings, new camera batteries, more lighting, etc., etc.
Reblogs are appreciated!
Updates are in the replies.

I'm here to reintroduce myself 💛
Hi! I'm Mercedes, and I originally started this blog with the name "mx-ethereal-sidereal".
Now, I'm calling my astrological work Language of the Ether, where I aim to share sidereal astrology content that brings insight, clarity, and catharsis, especially for the benefit of Black, Queer, Trans, disabled, and covid-cautious young adults that are navigating the world as it is.
I aim to create accessible writing, videos, newsletters, guidebooks, etc. that provide thorough, valuable content that cover general sidereal astrology education, current events through an astrological lens, personal astrological observations, and more!
I intend to focus mainly on my other socials, so at least for the time being I don't plan on being very involved here on Tumblr any time soon, outside of maybe sharing an update or a link every so often.
Here are my links below!

The chart above is the chart of Mars in Capricorn's ingress.
What I find interesting about this particular Scorpio moon is how it's pulling our attention to its ruler, Mars, which is changing signs to Capricorn very soon. This pull may lead us to feel like we have no choice but to directly witness the last moments of this rare fire mutual reception between Aries Jupiter & Sagittarius Mars lose its steam (after over a month of those two giving consistent mutual support to each other).
Scorpio moon is currently pulling us towards tending to our need to self-preserve. This need for self-preservation (and/or maybe even a strong desire to isolate) is being influenced by Mars in Sagittarius, an overwhelming determination to spread what you believe in an attempt to change the minds of others & the world around you.
What's been changing now though? As of late, where in your life have you felt the need to switch gears into dedicating your energy towards grounding yourself in reality? This Scorpio moon feels like it's ushering us through this transition of these final moments of Mars in Sagittarius into Capricorn, a sign where there's nothing but the experience of being pulled into reality.
We'll go from our actions being influenced by Jupiter in Aries's all-consuming story of chronic abandonment & unrelenting recklessness to our actions being influenced by Saturn in Aquarius's real or perceived limits around what we imagine is possible. From boldly sticking to your guns with zeal to skidding to a halt so we can get real (or as real as we think we're being) about where our limits and restrictions are.
Our attention (Sun) and topics of conversation (Mercury) have been way ahead of Mars within these past few weeks, so we'll be playing catch up as we begin walking the walk to get our priorities straight & in alignment with Saturn in Aquarius. Mars is coming into the picture building on a stellium in Capricorn, giving Saturn in Aquarius full dominion over these three planets and a direct influence on why they're navigating their roles the way they are now.
What has Saturn in Aquarius been about?
Setting limits on language, concepts, and ideas in a way that morphs the way perceive what's possible
New words, new language, new definitions, new names, new pronouns, new titles, new concepts
Having enough distance from the gaze of others that it grants you control over how you self-determine
Being out of touch with other people's perceptions; being out of touch with other people's real or perceived limits; being out of touch with what our actual limits and material reality are.
These experiences of Saturn in Aquarius will be all the more noticable these next couple months with the ways it strongly influences the Capricorn stellium and the upcoming Aquarius stellium.

I'm trying to connect what I've learned from Moon-Sun squares to squares within other planets; I think the current Moon in Virgo square the current Sagittarius stellium can be compared to a third quarter moon. Moon in Virgo has been causing friction by challenging Sagittarius to confront the ways its gotten in a pattern of overzealous ambitions, relationships that serve to reaffirm its beliefs, and proselytizing conversations. What that release looks like may manifest clearer during this approaching Third Quarter Moon in Libra and Mercury moving into Capricorn.
These past couple days, Virgo Moon has been applying pressuring onto Sagittarius, similar to how Capricorn is applying pressure onto Aries. Virgo Moon conjunct the south node and trine Capricorn Sun feels like a warning to this fire trine & mutual reception that it's time to settle down very soon (like within the next couple weeks soon as the Capricorn stellium builds up). This is necessary friction between fire and earth that allows for some much needed changes of pace.
In the meantime, soon the moon will enter it's Third Quarter phase in Libra. This particular phase is interesting though because it'll lead to an opposition with Aries too. Libra applies pressure on Capricorn, Capricorn applies pressure on Aries, and Aries pushes back at Capricorn whilst glaring at Libra like, "What are you doing??? I got this???". But Aries needs Libra though: Air challenges earth to think outside the box and get out of being one-track minded. Third Quarter Libra Moon (trine Saturn in Aquarius) is challenging Capricorn to let go of focusing on how cold and dark reality can be because there's always a team/collective/community you can rely on for help, while simultaneously making it very clear to Aries Jupiter that there are outside forces and powers that be that it needs to be consciously aware off before it makes its next move.
Libra knows there are consequences, but not quite the same way Capricorn does. And with Libra making a trine with Aquarius, seemingly lack of tangible consequences may make this Libra Moon feel like a distraction to what Capricorn Sun is trying to get us to pay attention to. Mercury is about to move into Capricorn though; from amplifying the voices of those that benefit from being recklessly wrong & strong -> to amplifying the voices of those trying to set limits that force us to sober down & focus on the glaringly obvious elephant in the room.

In continuation of this post: Link
So far from what I've observed, first quarter moons definitely don't feel has heavy as third quarters. I'm attributing that to the fact first quarters are waxing & developing, whereas third quarters are waning & shedding. Though, there's definitely still this feeling of resisting something & "pushing ahead".
Capricorn Sun square Aries moon right now feels like "getting real" with something and moving forward anyways despite any real or perceived limits in front of our faces. And all the support Aries has right now, especially newfound Venus in Sagittarius, outnumbers whatever Sun in Capricorn is trying to get us to look at.
Sun in Capricorn in the middle of all this fire and air is def like an elephant in the room though. I think the elephant will just get louder when the Capricorn stellium builds within the next month.
That elephant specifically being: the tangible, material consequences of how long the collective has been disregarding and ignoring covid. The Capricorn stellium pushing a haaarrd square on Aries Jupiter seems like pressure! Much needed pressure on Aries to sloooww the fuck down from running rampant. This marks the last time Jupiter in Aries will get prolonged support and enablement from it's bestie Sagittarius 😭 (besides with moons).
Jupiter in Aries answering to Mars in Capricorn whilst Mars stands on Jupiter's neck with that earth-fire square is giving power imbalance galore 🚨. Hard limits and restrictions being set & folks going in an uproar about how it conflicts the story they've been telling themself this whole time, possibly?
Also with the knowledge of this covid surge being spoken about in the news more seriously (look to posts like this) this general time seems like the equivalent to a record scratch, especially after all this fire in the sky rn. A record scratch around what exactly? I'm not sure precisely, because I don't want to hold my breath for any solid mandates to come back, but it just feels like that maaay be the case with stuff like mask mandates already slowly coming back in some locations & institutions.
There's also the lunar nodes pointing to Jupiter in Aries and Mercury in Capricorn next month; the amplified voices and stories about the cold, dark reality of this ongoing pandemic we're still in will directly & impactfully challenge the all-consuming broken record that tells us every man is for himself when it comes to public health.
I'm curious to what's going to take root in the when the moon joins the Capricorn stellium and culminates to a new moon. Saturn is in Aquarius; maybe new language for what we call and/or how we describe long covid? Reimagining of where we can possibly go from here? I'm projecting ahead of time of course, so I suppose we'll see when the time comes.

- Moon in Pisces
- Sun in Capricorn
- Mercury in Sagittarius
- Venus in Scorpio
- Mars in Sagittarius
- Jupiter in Aries
- Saturn in Aquarius
Before moon moves into its first quarter phase in Aries, I wanted to point out how (besides Scorpio moon about a week and a half ago) Pisces moon has been Venus in Scorpio's first water sign "back up" since moon was in Cancer at the very end of December. That's about two and a half weeks of Scorpio Venus carrying its weight with very little real water support while it's been tussling with Saturn in Aquarius. Waxing crescent Pisces moon allowed for a couple days of validation for Scorpio Venus and granting it permission to not take what it's feeling for granted & to listen to those feelings that tell it something is wrong even if all the noise around us is demanding us to do otherwise.
In less than a half hour, moon will cross over to Aries and enter its first quarter phase. Since first quarters are when the moon and sun are in squaring signs, this is a time of tension, stress, and hurdles, and since the moon is waxing, it's specifically resisting those tensions, stressors, and hurdles. Wherever your Aries house is is where there will be friction and a push to make hard decisions that may challenge you and/or may hinder/interrupt any original plans that started on the new moon in Sagittarius. This pivot is occuring while Jupiter is still in Aries, along with that fire sign mutual reception. First quarter moon in Aries conjunct Jupiter seems like people may feel moved to challenge the reality of what Sun in Capricorn is forcing us to look at. It feels like people saying, "I see what you're saying (not really), but no. I'm determined. I can get through this. I can overcome this. I will push. I will push. I will push. And I'm backed up by my convictions anyways; I know what I'm doing." Sobering Sun in Capricorn is here right now for a reason though, so maaaybe don't get too reckless.
As it's still a waxing phase, these couple days may feel like a test on your commitment to whatever "seed" was planted on the new moon.

I love when planets transit into the next sign seemingly because of another transit/aspect also taking place. For example: today Mars is leaving Scorpio and moving into Sagittarius. That feels like Mars felt ready to move into Sagittarius because of what was culminated during this full moon in Gemini (esp since the full moon is ruled by rx mercury in Sagittarius). There's a realization through the full moon happening, so it's influencing our need to put our energy & efforts into something else.
Editing to add: *influencing a change in what conversations are important too w rx mercury moving back to Scorpio

Jupiter in sidereal Aries has been giving me so much more audacity lately. For example: despite the fact cops place themselves close to the MTA train station turnstile to monitor folks paying their fare, I've been opening the door gate for folks that can't pay their fare right in front of them like nothing happened.

Notes from Dayna Lynn Nuckolls's Virgo New Moon IG Live
Sidereal Virgo New Moon:
Planting seeds to establish the facts...
Sourced via The 2022 Sidereal Astrology Guide
Sidereal Virgo New Moon Trine Sidereal Taurus Mars:
"Seduction"; not everything is what it seems. Taurus Mars is working very hard to make everyone conform to maintain the status quo, i.e. pretending the pandemic is over. However, we're still dealing with Covid. Despite the fact US government officials and the CDC are failing us with giving out or enforcing any mandates for this pandemic, on top of many, many, many people not wearing masks, the fact of the matter is the statics show 500 people a day are being killed by this virus. Do not be fooled by the way things seem. Do not be seduced by the lies.
Sidereal Virgo New Moon Opposite Sidereal Pisces Jupiter Rx:
We're now currently experiencing all of the planets from the Sun to Saturn in earth and water, but mostly earth. All this earth is indicative of how so many people are taking what officials say about the pandemic being over at face value, conforming to it, and adapting to it.
Rx Jupiter in Pisces is that feeling in your gut that says you're in danger. Give your body the benefit of the doubt. Your body is never wrong, meaning while the material reality may seem fine and everyone may be telling you things are okay and that you're overreacting, the feelings you're experiencing that tell you otherwise is 110% correct.
Listen to what your body is telling you, if you haven't been trusting it before now is the time to because Dayna warned November and December will be very rough.
Sidereal Virgo New Moon and Sidereal Virgo Stellium:
Virgo's job is to take the material reality at face value and collect the data it sees. This new moon is your chance to decide which data you choose to take at face value, for your own survival.
Thank you for reading 💛 Stay safe and stay masked everyone ✌🏾
