(Part 1/5) Here’s a neat find: on the 2008 Japanese DVD release of Tetsujin 28: Morning Moon of Midday, there’s a photo collection featuring art depicting locations from the film, some seen in the final product and some not. Here’s a few pieces from the interior of Apartment Building #5, including a standard apartment interior, the phone booth, the dining area, and the main entrance doors, all featured at different times of the day. As an added bonus, here’s a depiction of the devastating effects of Professor Kaneda’s ruin bomb.

Here’s a look at the hyper-stylized DVD menus from the 2006 UK release of Tetsujin 28 by Manga Entertainment, specifically Vol. 2. One of only two volumes ever released in the United Kingdom, this set included a 5.1 surround sound remaster of the Japanese and English audio tracks, a complete re-subtitling of episodes 6-10, a special collectible booklet with high-definition promotional artwork that folds out into a poster for the 2005 movie, and a reversible cover portraying both the Manga Ent. artwork as well as the original Japanese DVD cover art.

My "Resurrected Edition" remaster of the Tetsujin 28 2004 Series. Be forewarned that the quality (bitrate and artifacts, specifically) of YouTube's re-encode is not as pristine as the original file.
I'm hoping to remaster other episodes as well, but I need to know user opinions before I continue: What are your thoughts on the coloration? Is the contrast too crushed? Is a 5.1 audio mix of any interest? What of Resolution? Is there anything else that you would want improved? Does this remaster bear any significant improvement in your viewing experience? Leave all answers in the comments.
Upscale and Remaster was preformed using Avisynth

A preview of what I have achieved so far in therms of my Re-Master of the 2004 series for 1080p HD. Make sure to change the quality settings to "1080p HD" to see the full extent of the changes.
The song included is that of the PS2 video game's theme for Tetsujin.

I know I haven't posted for a long time, but I decided to come back and do Tetsujin stuff on these accounts again. As of now I'm working on HD remasters of the 2004 series, we'll see what comes out of those. In the meantime, here's the non-vocal version of the ending theme as it appears in the PS2 Game.
