My main disappointment with GX is that it had a bunch of really fun characters that I loved and yet it didn't feel like the writers loved them or were interested in them half as much as I was. In fact it often felt like it was trying to hastily get rid of them.

Most people can't even see Ka without years of study + TKB was 16 and definitely had zero formal training but was somehow able to summon and fully consciously control a god Ka + established thematic parallel of monster world white mage bakura op pls nerf = if instead of murdering everyone he ever loved the palace somehow handed this kid off to Mahad for wizard training then everything would have gone amazing, or, things would have gone very wrong but in a number of new and interesting ways
