Finding emotional work arounds with things im doing so i finish them and not throw everything into the bin when i "think" everything is going wrong.

Changed what the game is, focused down scope a lot and made it more low spoons days friendly. I just wan to finish a game. it doesnt need to be great, just done.

Work calendar Spooktober

I will be pinning this to the top of this page and updated every other day when i can.

I am putting down what i did for the day and fixing out the days i am at my day job. I am able to write on days i work, but not really art. I could code at work but I want to keep all the info on one computer so i wont.

Log down under this of what i did and date so i have it easity in one area.

Sept 5- No work,raining, left alone

plan: get all sprites Ive sketched (5) finished and at least 2 backgrounds sketched out.

What I did: I have low spoons. I woke up for 2 hours, did some inking and slept intill 3 pm. now im having a hard time functioning. Low spoons came out of no where and i think my hormons are being funky.

Sept 6 - My scope for my orginal idea is to big out right. I am scrapping all ideas and working with a smaller scope.

Plan- I have 3 hours before work to do a bunch of planing. I will make a more smaller scope and a more reasonable design idea.

Unintentionally got myself a editor and beta reader for this month. Also they are a vet tech so my medical stuff in the story can be double checked!

Todays goals met!

wrote half of the plot points, wrote some lore, figure out what the gods and design elements are.

Worked on what the winter ritual is and why they have it.

Not trying to stress out to much on my first day. I have 4 days off next week just to work on this, and after work with the writing. I need to work on more of the horror element in it and figure out overall feel for the characters. Backgrounds will be just line work with minimal colour unless needed.

wooo boy ive forgot about this account due to lots of day job work. Right now im grinding my nose to the ground so i can get some kind of money saved so i can just focus on art and game dev stuff. I will be using this account more.

why wont the words show up? ive gone over 3 times the code and its identical with what the guy has. the box draws up but then i have noooooo words.

i guess its time to find a new tutorial then i guess.

I have been working on the code for the dialoug for my game. I have used 2 diffrent tutorials and spent 3 days. I finaly have a box, that pops up! its SHOULD have words but they are not showing up. so i am almost done. My dyslexia is kicking my ass right now.

Day 2 of game jam

I have premis finished, most of scope joted down and starting on writing. I will be working between writing and coding first with placeholders till mid way and then start art. Art is what i am better at so i hope this pushes be to get the other two going and focused.

Josei game jam has begone!!!

I will make a more official post on what I'm doing but the little sneak peak is it has anthros in it and the main woman is starting over because she just broke up with her boyfriend.
