Eira was born on the coldest day of winter, in Windenburg. Growing up with 5 other siblings, Eira always had felt like the odd one out. She was raised in a very athletic family, both her parents being well-known hockey players. Eira and her siblings were all enrolled in hockey, where she soon realized that it wasn’t her thing. At the young age of 16, she moved out of her chaotic household to pursue her dreams of becoming an author (without her parents’ support). Struggling to support herself financially, she got a job at a small retail store. Fortunately, a few years later, Eira’s writing work was recognized by the local news station, who were looking to hire freelance writers. Many articles later, Eira’s writing career was slowly reaching its peak, with thousands of reads on each article. After years of being a successful writer, Eira realized that this was not how she wanted to spend her life. She was living alone with no close friends and had little contact with her family members. On a morning jog, she spotted a trio of calico kittens who were freezing on the side of the road. She took them home with her and checked them in to the vet to make sure they were healthy. Soon enough, the kittens began to grow up and Eira needed to know how to take care of the kittens properly. She was trained at the vet office every weekend where she discovered her passion for taking care of animals. One mid-life crisis later, she quit her job as a successful writer and got a job at the vet office. 

Although the company of her three cats keeps her comfortable, she hopes to be able to become part of a family that feels complete and to support them through all the decisions they make. 

                                                Facts about Eira:

- Eira means “snow” in Welsh

- Eira is 23 years old

- Her 3 cats are named Cherubim, Blessing and Dove

- She is a self-taught violin player

- Usually, in isolation from all human interactions, she wishes to finally experience love for the first time

- Dyed her hair as another way to rebel against her parents 

- Natural hair colour is black (which was extremely difficult to dye!)

- Will cook you and your pets delicious meals
