Lost 50 pounds in three months.

Gained it all back after two break ups, finding out my mother had cancer, and sending job applications out into the abyss to hear nothing back.

Back to the start, I guess.

Yo yo yo, this is a sideblog so I'm reblogging to comment, my b.

I mean you're right, starving does work if you're trying to lose weight fast. However, in the long run, it fucks up your ability to lose weight. Straight starving actually slows down your metabolism, esp if you do it for a prolonged period of time. Also, once you inevitably start eating again, you gain a SHIT ton of weight back, simply because your body just doesn't know what the fuck to do with it and is expecting to starve again, so it kinda puts all that shit in reserve for next time.

And let's not even talk about the binging that straight starving causes.

So yeah, 10/10 wouldn't recommend. Yo-yoing is so much more effective, at least for me.

I still don't have any will to workout

And since yesterday I've lost 1,1 kg, and I one thing I know that kinda starving works just as intermittent fasting.

And no one will change my mind that it doesn't. Okay, first one is dangerous, but it works. And it pisses me off so much when people say it doesn't work 😒
