I feel MCD Aaron could have had more substance as a character if the romance wasn’t the only focus tbh…

Dante & Aaron had many things it common, would’ve been nice to see Aaron slowly coming out of his shell around someone who knows what it is like to lose your village, your family & everything you’ve known. Who knows what it’s like to travel aimlessly with guilt for years and the feeling that you don’t deserve anything… who also knows what it means to be a father and protector…

In the end he had potential, he just wasn’t utilised as effectively as he could’ve been

something I love and have always loved about aphmau fandom specifically on tumblr is how self sufficient it is. like yes thank you Jess for Minecraft diaries and mystreet and all the characters but so much lore and character development is done right here! For many intents and purposes we got a semi-blank slate and built on top of that as a fandom and YEAH that’s what fandom does but. I’ve never really seen it like I’ve seen it here

like we have fan blogs and bibles worth of lore and art and explorations into characters that barely get an episodes worth of time in total and it’s all feels very organic

don’t know how to describe it but!! aphblr is like a hothouse of lore and it’s cool
