⋆ I'm back! ;u; A really long break, I know, but I was going through some... well, really big issues. Those issues are getting worse but, hopefully writing will help me think? Will keep me focused? Er... I'm not exactly sure how to start back up with roleplaying, so bear with me.

⋆ It was impossible to keep a smile off of her face. "I knew you'd love it!" She exclaimed, returning the big bear hug and giving him an extra squeeze. Actually, she thought he'd make fun of it; even dislike it. She trusted his feelings were genuine and pushed all worry aside.
"You don't have to thank me, either. I mean ... I don't have anything else to do up here."

Rapunzel smiled lightheartedly, and finally realizing how ... close they were, she edged back a little, rubbing the back of her neck nervously. She smiled at the floor now, "But, um ... I'm, uh, glad you like it! I've never painted for someone else before, well that is, never painted something for someone on my walls, but — yeah."
The conversation was quickly getting awkward. She didn't know what to say next — she didn't think she'd get this far into the surprise. What were they supposed to do now? Sit up in her tower all day, talking about how much they appreciate each other or something?
Well, it's a start.
"Look, um ... Jack. I don't think I've ever properly expressed how much I... appreciate you? Well, I have, except I haven't ... gone into depth? Er — you know what I mean?" The blonde gulped, finally looking up and meeting his gaze. "Okay, uh ... you're just, to put it simply, my best friend. My only friend, really. And I wanted you to know how much you mean to me, but, I can't put it into words, so uh ... nevermind. Forget I said anything, let's go find something to do!"
❄; Once the curtains were pulled back, Jack stared at the painted wall. The smile on his face vanished, but that wasn’t a bad sign; not at all. His previously happy expression had turned into an astounded and interested one. He wasn’t even sure what to say! Nobody had ever done something like this for him, and he was touched, as silly as he felt about it.
❄; She valued him enough to spend hours of her time adding him to her gallery — her gallery in which he knew she was running out of room to add new things to. Of all the things she could have painted, she painted him. Him. Even better, she painted him spending time with her. A smile slowly returned, but the amazement didn’t leave his expression. He walked closer to the wall, in means of getting a better look at it.
❄; “I can’t believe you…” He trailed off, absolute joy in his voice. Quickly turning to look at her, he let out a short laugh that sounded much more like a breath. “I can’t believe you did this — for me!” Another airy laugh was let out, corners of his mouth moving so his smile grew. “This is so cool!” Turning away a bit and lifting a hand to run through his hair, he resembled a little kid on Christmas day. He glanced at the floor in a thinking manner, then turning his head to look at her.
❄; Practically leaping towards her, he pulled her into a big bear hug. This meant a lot more to him than she could imagine. People never drew things of him, or took pictures of him, or anything of that sort. It was decided a long time ago that Rapunzel could see him, but the fact that she painted him like this — knew what he looked like by memory, cared enough to do this — was just the best thing, as if he was discovering all over again that she believed in him.
❄; “Thank you,” He exclaimed once retreating from the hug, hands now on her shoulders. “Thank you so much! It’s… the best surprise ever!” The resemblance to a little kid was still there. In his eyes was a childish glint, showing off that this was a very important thing to him.

⋆ "Trespassing? I'm not sure, I mean, I don't think you're trespassing."

"Er— Who are you, exactly? And how come you're this far into the forests of Corona?" It wasn't every day she ran into somebody outside of her tower. Actually, she'd never met somebody in the woods before.
The hunter waved politely and smiled, bowing “Good evening Ma’am,. I’m not trespassing am I?”

⋆ "Lost? Lost what?" Rapunzel inquired, brows furrowing in concern. "You know, I'm a very good seeker. I'm a pro at hide and seek; I could help you find whatever you lost!"

“I think - I think I lost it in the ice castle.”

Send me a “❆” to see how my muse reacts to:
19 — Your muse trying to share a scarf with mine.
⋆ Rapunzel wasn’t particularly shy, especially during the cold days of winter. Sharing a scarf was something she wasn’t used to, though, and her green eyes watched Riku warily as he lifted his scarf up and over her head. It was warm, and soft to the touch. It kept the chill from creeping up behind her and giving her occasional goosebumps.
Her gaze lowered, a vague blush blossoming on her cheeks. She’d never shared a scarf with anyone before, but she was thankful for the extra layer of warmth. Sheepishly, she lifted her gaze and smiled, “Thank you.”

Oh, doll, suicide isn't the answer. You have a sign to keep going, and it's your life. You're living for a reason, and you just haven't found it yet. You're going to miss out on so many things. I know you probably think that people don't care how you feel, or that you're alone and secluded in these problems, but I've been there and I'm absolutely, 100% here for you. I care. I care about you, and I care about you getting through this night unharmed. Overdosing is painful, and before you realize you've made a mistake and want to change your mind, it's too late to find help.
Your happiness is our top priority; which is why we're reaching out to you, to help you. Your life is precious. You're going to be missing out on so many things, and it's the little things that count, like taking a nap after a long day and waking up refreshed, or finally getting that Christmas present you wanted. Maybe even getting a snow day for school and getting extra sleep after staying up a little past your bed time. Life is strenuous, sure, but it's the little things that make it worth living. You have no idea how many people care for you.
I don't know what's going through your head right now, or if you even care about what I'm saying, but my message is: I care about you, someone that I just happened to stumble upon a social website, and I want nothing more than for you to get through this and be able to smile again.
If there is anything that can change my mind in the next 30 minutes not to take an overdose of melatonin than I live another day. I just really need a sign now. I can’t try anymore.

⋆ As someone who couldn't fly, Rapunzel was always grateful for the short and sweet trips up and down from her tower. Of course, it gave her limited time of being closer to Jack. She also appreciated the little moments where they held hands; it was fun, and with all of the cold weather, it made her feel warm. Maybe it was from the lack of human contact she'd had over her eighteen years of living — or, maybe it was something else.
The whole carry-me-to-the-tower thing was a privilege, and a ruse. She could scale that tower in seconds with her hair, and Jack could fly up on his own — she was just being sneaky and hitching a free ride.
But Jack didn't have to know that.
She couldn't resist the tinge of excitement she had. She'd actually been working on his "surprise" for a while now — a few days, at least. Her hopes of saving it for the right time were diminished when she bragged about how much of a super cool surprise she had. Her master plans were foiled again by him.
Upon arriving in her tower, she had expected it all to be easy as pie. She would tease him a bit about the surprise, stalling it. Then she would unveil it, and Jack would be so grateful, he'd never tease her ever again. One minor setback was that he didn't let her go, and it took her a few seconds to register this.
"Um," she laughed nervously, squirming out of his grasp, "about that — Close your eyes. Wait — no, nevermind, that takes too long. Just, um ..." Rapunzel inched towards a curtained wall, hands clasped behind her back. "This is your surprise. So um..." She drew the drapes, and cried, "Ta-da!"
Leaping back to reveal her surprise to him, she couldn't keep the smile off of her face. Behind the curtains and slathered onto the wall was a painting, a painting of the two of them together. Each stroke was neat, and from what she could tell, she did a good job of avoiding any messes or mistakes. The painting consisted of three things: Rapunzel leaning outside her tower window to greet an airborne Jack, the two of them building a snowman, and then, the two of them holding hands. She was afraid Jack would reject the paintings and declare them as silly, but she was hopeful.
"I ... well, I added you to my gallery," Rapunzel shyly began, unable to meet his gaze from fear of what his eyes might reveal. If she couldn't read his expression, she could see it in his eyes. "I hope you don't mind. I was saving this spot for something special to paint, and, I thought of you."

❄; Oh boy, Jack hated that pan of hers. He had been whacked with it a few times before, and it wasn’t a fun thing to experience at all. It was enough to completely stop his snickering — but not his smile. Not by a long shot.
❄; “Better be the best surprise ever if you planned ahead for it, O creative tower girl.” With that, he took hold of her hand. It was priceless that she planned her losses beforehand. It seemed like the longer he knew her, the funnier she got. Usually people planned wins, not losses; but maybe the ratio of wins to losses that she had against Jack was enough to make her resort to planning ahead for such a thing.

❄; After making sure to stick his tongue out at her, he turned and began heading towards her tower, hand grasping her own the whole time. He really didn’t think much of holding her hand. It was pleasant, he had to admit. Lucky for her that they weren’t too far from the tower, because he could only imagine how cold she was at this point.
❄; Once the tower came into view, he wasted no time in turning back to view her, pulling her hand so she stumbled closer to himself and then lifting her into his arms with a swift movement. He’d made it a habit of flying her up, so it wasn’t too difficult for him. Springing off of the ground, he let the wind keep him airborne, easily gliding them both up to the entrance of the tower. He failed to let go of her when landing inside, however; and this was actually done on purpose more than anything else. “So. The surprise.”
