anyway all that to say that if you’re a dropout if you have shit grades if you go to an alt school and are looked down on for it if you’re in your 5th or 6th or whatever year of high school if you’re still getting your GED if you’re taking night classes if you missed out on “universal” high school experiences if you were abused by your peers (because make no mistake, that’s what bullying is) if you were expelled if you were truant every single year if you were homeschooled and got sick of the jokes if you never attended a full week if the whole world treats you like the scum of the earth all because of your high school experience or lackthereof you’re not alone. there’s so many of us that have been beaten down and broken by the school systems we’re subject to and the hostility they breed and the abusive environments they foster. some day we won’t have to be treated like objects of pity or contempt to be swept aside but until then we have each other

if you're cringing at the genre conventions of the genre you are writing in then why the hell are you writing in it. either have something substantial to say about those conventions or shut the hell up! i will not cringe alongside you at superhero powers and spaceship battles and big eldritch worms and bone magic. i came to this story to SEE that shit and I don't appreciate it when an author tries to pretend they're above the very things they're selling themselves on

I don't think it's a radical ideal for the want of Hawai'i to become their own independent country. It should have never been taken over by the US in the first place. For a country whose entire foundation is based upon "separation from a colonial country" it's laughable that they made an entire population that was self governed into a state. It's insulting. It's already blatantly obvious that this whole country was based on lies and blood, and it only continues to perpetuate that. I'm shocked that the Hawai'ian sovereignty movement isn't mainstream even though they have been fighting for it since 1997. Fuck the American government.

the fact that there are white people going "omg they're just like us" about people in south, south east, south west asia and africa and south america like it's some huge revelation that we're all human is so fucking dismal to me. what do you mean you never considered the personhood of the people who don't look like you or don't have your culture? why do you think that you're unique in your suffering? why do you think you deserve praise for realizing that we're all human?

my biggest flaw is that i dont like hawaiian candy that much IM SORRY !!!!! but its all li hing flavored gummies or macadamia nuts (dont like nuts) or pineapple (dont like pineapple) . i mean the pastries are delicious malasadas reign supreme but also its portuguese but also all hawaiian food is a mishmash of various cultures and fhats beautiful but yea no i dont like the candy

i need to try more candy from around the world . i am so curious and also cause from the three countries i can confidently say that ive tried a wide variety from (usa , japan , australia) australia reigns supreme by a wide mark and it needs to be taken down a peg

oh shit it did post !!! yayyyy my silly little video um anyway back at the park again and i change my mind cause the song is ‘finished’ and i like it also i cant decide if i should go no capo or capo one and sing an octave higher than usual ummmmmm idk ill have to watch the video tonight cause if i watch it rn ill hate it and feel bad such is life rip but anyway back in the park and trying to write more and ive decided to turn it into a little game :3

back when i was writing music a lot more (like only a couple months ago lollll) i would get stuck a lot so i would pull out my dictionary and choose a word and figure out where to go from there . id give myself a set time to write a song . so im sort of doing the same thing but instead i wrote a list of themes - named them - and am giving myself 10 min for lyrics and 5 min for chords then ill see where i can go from there . it might work and it might fail so lets see how it goes !!!
