"if you ship this thing it's because you're too naïve to understand that it's toxic and that you wouldn't like a relationship like this" actually it's because I see one of them as a mentos drop and the other as a bottle of coke zero and I want to watch the mess they'll be together

"mutual" - you found this post from a mutual (on their blog or your dash) "following" - you found this post from someone you're following, but who isn't following you "random" - you found this by scrolling through someone's blog, who you don't follow. this includes people following you "For You" - you found this on the For You page "recommended" - you found this in a "Check out these blogs" popup, or a "recommended" post when looking at a different post "other" - you found this post some other way. comment how? "reblog ✅" - you're going to reblog, queue, or schedule this post "reblog ❌" - you're NOT going to reblog, queue, or schedule this post
with that out of the way:

The aging system for Lekku/Montrals as shown by Ahsoka!
Tumblr media
The pattern growth is dependent on the resources and stressors of the Togruta throughout childhood and adolescence. Thick smooth bands indicate a healthy childhood with lots of food and lack of physical or emotional stress, thin snakelike bands suggest a traumatic youth, and ragged or sharp edges are the result of a young Togruta not having enough food or food which does not fit their obligate carnivore needs.
Ahsoka grew up during a war period as a child soldier and her stripes reflect this.

“how would you feel if someone blocked you just because they found you annoying?” then i wouldn’t have to interact with someone who thinks i’m annoying? i don’t see a problem

And this is a multi-layered issue, to clarify, Jon and Harley's relationship takes a spiral because Jon is keeping secrets from Harley and Harley is not listening to Jon when he does express his needs.
So, there's a nagging worry for me, as I plot out the endpoints of this book, that I will get initial comments asking why I made Joker better for Harley than Jon because Joker being good at manipulating Harley comes part in parcel with him agreeing that Jon's behavior in the prior scenes is bad because it's what will get Harley to trust him.

maybe a crazy take idk but i dont actually think many scenes in stories are 'unneccesary' i think they just make people uncomfortable and rather than try to understand the significance of that discomfort and why the author mightve deliberately inflicted it, decide that discomfort = bad, therefore that scene + the author are both bad

Me Giving a Pressed Conference: our advocacy for the disabled must include the addict, the imperfect victim, those we despise; the right to autonomy and life cannot devolve into a popularity contest
Reporter I Hate (Not Sexual Tension): Does that include all the attendees of the Bored Ape NFT event who went blind
Me: *Blood streaming from my nostrils and eyes* david, it includes everyone

Thinking about the JL finding out that Bruce has contingency plans for all of his kids and being horrified. But when the League asks them about it, all the kids are like “yeah! we actually all have them for each other just in case” and move on like it’s perfectly normal to have three different ways to take out your brother on hand (for emergencies).

One of Drury's moth tattoos has, along the moth's thorax, the letters MISCDD, the first initials of the six survivors of Project Cryptid (Mason McNeil, Isaiah Cardenas, Sylas Ortega, Cesar Knight, David Park, and Drury Walker). The moth is an ailanthus silkmoth, the moth he was spliced with.
The other five have a tattoo of the insect/arachnid they were spliced with with the same tattoo arrangement (noble false widow for Mason, tarantula hawk wasp for Isaiah, desert whitetail dragonfly for Sylas, deathstalker scorpion for Cesar, and orchid mantis for David).
As a rather dark note you may have noticed, Drury is the only survivor of the experiment that was spliced with an herbivorous species.
