The Return of the King

CLOTH... We all know of tale’s of wolves in sheep’s clothing, but even more real than that lie a sheep of a man in wolf attire so desperately clinging to dreams of forevermore that were so obviously tainted by his own self-hatred and doubt. Cloth was going to protect the crumbling soul from the world. It was going to put him on the throne, but what throne is worth losing yourself for? 

He was the sheep hoping that with his sins he could reign, but he couldn’t rule his heart. He wondered what that meant for himself. As he laid down each night, he thought dreams of forevermore, but nevermore his what every night’s tale turned into. 

There was still redemption, though.

She pushed him from the depth of hell. She saved his soul over and over again. He found happiness and grace beside her as she spoke to him. His queen brought another to him too. She spoke a gospel tale of the righteous. The one true king and the glory of his son. God came to the sheep man, and he truly became a wolf.

His queen was not bound for life for long, though. She faded into dust, but the born again wolf did not forget the lessons she brought. In fact, he took them into action. A warrior now, he journeyed on with his dreams of forevermore gone. He only dreamed of the righteous.
