i wish you were here.

i wish i could wake in the morning and roll to my left side to see you right beside me. i want to be able to reach out and gently cup the side of your face, stroking your cheek with my thumb. i want to carefully sidle up closer to you and press my ear to your chest, being able to hear your even breaths and heartbeat as you sleep. i want to watch your eyelashes flutter against your cheeks as you dream, and to feel you twitch as if you were a dog who dreamt of chasing rabbits. i want you to slowly wake up and kiss my forehead, to sleepily murmur a "good morning" and pull me closer. to be in your arms is all i could ever wish for. the blankets would wrap around us, warm and comforting. you would quietly sigh, and i would mimic it. not a sad sigh, but one of content. we would be content in eachother's arms, just laying in silence.

once we got up, i would make you breakfast. you would sit in our kitchen, at the island, and i would be humming along to some odd tune as i made pancakes. the smell would waft over to you and your stomach would growl. i would look over to see you grinning awkwardly, and giggle at the sight. my beautiful boy, sitting in my kitchen, about to eat my food. this is the moment i had been waiting for. the morning sun would peek in through our windows, casting a golden hue upon our wooden flooring. that same flooring that always creaked when we would walk, and that was now creaking once again as i stepped towards you to kiss your cheek. i would return to the oven, flipping a pancake and listening to the sizzle. my arms would be riddled with goosebumps. im always cold when i wake up, but you knew that now. you would get up and come over to me, wrapping your arms around my waist from behind. i would relish in the moment before shooing you away, plating your pancakes and setting them on the counter. i always want to be held by you though. i would crawl into your lap and sit there as you ate, curling up and laying my head against your chest to listen to your heartbeat again. the quiet thumping was always a comfort, a reminder that you really were here with me. at last, you were with me. we were no longer separated by hundreds of miles, but together in the same room, in the same chair. my gorgeous, sweet boy, finally with me. one day, i will spend a real morning with you, but for now, i will write about it.

after you ate, we would shower and get dressed for the day. i would probably sit in the bathroom as you got ready, telling you about my dreams (or what i could remember about them.) it was probably something about you, or my best friend, or something entirely abnormal like fighting off rampant opossums that could fly. you would quietly listen as you bathed yourself, maybe making a comment or a slight gasp here or there so i knew you were still listening. the water drumming would nearly lull me back to sleep, so i would hoist myself off the floor to begin getting myself ready. i had showered the night before, so all i had to do was put fresh clothes on. maybe i'd wear baggy jeans and a nice flannel. you would exit the shower and get dressed as well, getting dressed beside me. i would watch you, softly smiling.

maybe throughout the day, we would watch birds out on our porch. i would sprawl out on a blanket, soaking up the sun. maybe you'd be drawing as i rested, sipping on cold lemonade or whatever else you wanted. i wouldn't care what we did, as long as i was with you. the birdsong would surround us, and eventually i would sit up and just watch you. my gorgeous boy. i would love to just watch you. i want to look at you and think, that is the boy that i'll be marrying. i want my ring to be on your finger at all times, letting everyone know that you're mine. my future husband.

Tempted to make a Discord Server for "Weird" Alterhumans

I, personally, struggle with finding alterhuman spaces that aren't extremely exclusionary. I'm in a server I really like, but at the same time it doesn't feel like a space where I can talk about my nonhuman identity in a "serious" light, or discuss the "weirder" parts of it. Would anyone be interested in joining it, if it is created? It would be aimed towards anyone who feels excluded from typical therian/alterhuman spaces in general, regardless of the nature of the identity. It wouldn't have a real age restriction (13+), but would definitely have categories reserved for different age groups (most likely 13-15, 16-18, and then 18+)

Any feedback is grately appreciated! If this gets some positive reception I'll start working on it.

this and also the fact most people are severely under/uneducated on alterhumanity as a whole on tiktok

It's so incredibly refreshing to come from tiktok where people are only talking about drama or purely doing quads to finding Tumblr where people are actually talking about their alterhumanity and how it affects them and how it makes them feel.

I know tiktok is mostly for gaining a following but it is still so nice especially when you can see something new in each post instead of just quads quads quads, talks about therianthropy, quads quads quads. I feel like I can connect to others experiences more on here and find out more about myself through more alterhuman talk.
