My hard drive had an error and needed to be repaired. I just lost a whole bunch of my important scripting notes and even some scripts. (At least not all of my scripts are gone.)

It's so strange being from a state frequently seen in a piece of media you're shifting to. Like the state I'm from shows up multiple times in Supernatural and like, it does not look like that in this reality. That's why I always have to script that the places look like they do in the show.

Like one episode the location was close to where I'm actually from in my state and like all I could think is that it does not look like that in this reality (especially at that point in time).

Supernatural Shifters: Helpful Resource?

Hello. ♡

I had a very random thought about a possibly helpful resource for people shifting to Supernatural.

There was an officially licensed book made that was meant to be a published version of John's Journal. You can read it for free and download it for yourselves through the Internet Archive. Here is a link to the PDF of the book here: PDF link for the book.

I will point out the formatting is interesting there are some sections in like Times New Roman font while other parts are in a pseudo-handwritten like font.

Also, it isn't 100% accurate in appearance to the show version, but it is likely due to the fact that the book was created to be more legible and readable. If they published a version 100% show accurate in appearance it would not be the most readable in its format.

The formatting is different but the information is the same. Also, I've noticed there are different illustrations (some are the same but some are different), I don't know why that was the choice but this thing was published around 16 years ago so I think the time for answers is gone.

One last note. I know there is likely information left out/ the book is likely not completely accurate to the show in terms of the information provided. However, I would say they've done a well enough job. I did find an image of the journal from the show and decided to search the document with a string of words visible to see how accurate it would be. I would say it was pretty accurate in terms of the text/ information written.
