i can’t believe i thought it could never get better,

the world’s burning fast as i’m writing this letter.

i thought i knew what i could handle,

but i was learning to walk.

i thought i was good with being practice,

but i was learning to talk.

and yes,

you were too.

and i’m happy for you.

and i’m hoping it’s better,

and that the rain feels much wetter.

now that the dry season’s over

let’s turn up the exposure.

cuz they mean so much more;

all those seeds at your core.

and that vice wasn’t giving

any reasons for living.

to me it’s much more appealing

to see that you’re healing.

and j they have have fallen;

all the angels at once.

and we choose our fate.

if you don’t you’re a dunce.
