"mhm, that's what they all say." miko chuckled as he leaned against the rail next to her. his attention on her without hesitation. a chuckle leaves him. "maybe i had other plans but my original one was to look for you and see if you were okay." he pulls out a joint from behind his ear, bringing it to his lips and lighting it. "this was the second part of the plan."

Scarlet leaned against the railing looking out at the view. "Just needed some air." She replied standing up a little straighter. Some days she wondered if she was really cut out for all of this. She was from a small town that rarely anyone heard of. All of this just seemed a bit much at times. "What are you doing out here? doubt it was to just check up on me."

katherine smiled as zane's hands found their place on her hips, pulling her closer to his tall frame. she was admiring the new dress she had bought in front of the large floor length manor of her home. she hummed in response. "at least you know i'm beautiful all the time." the redheaded vampire teased beofre nodding. "a bit more you. a little bit for milo too." she admitted to the other, a soft sigh of content leaving as he kissed her neck. her head tips to the side as he allows him more access.

milo stood by the door, just observing the interaction for a few minutes. adjusting the tie he was sliding on before speaking. "hey now, don't start a party with out me." he smirked.

Zane smiled as he walked up behind Katherine, his hands finding her hips, squeezing them a little as he lent down, kissing the top of her head.

"You look beautiful." He breathed. "But then again, you always do." He hummed, breathing her in, as his hands wrapped around her waist, pulling her back against his chest.

"You dressing up all for me?" He then teased, lowering his lips to her neck.

stu chuckles with a shake of his head. "nothing man. you look like you're about to shit your pants right on the spot if i even moved an inch. bet you'd go full fetal if i lunged." stu is half tempted to actually test the theory out.

there are several approaches he could have here. instead of what he wants to do (rip the others head off), he puts on a frightened expression. "I don't know. What are you going to do?"

it had been more of a way to comfort theo when robin had confessed that she was into girls. after all, theo had accidentally outed himself to her one night when they were talking about star wars. so when he said he had found luke so attractive, she had offered up that princess leia was her kryptonite. the two had grown close because of their shared secrets. being able to be freely themselves when in each other's presence. so far theo and steve are the only two that know how she feels when it comes to the same sex. both very supportive actually which was nice.

"theo! what's up!" she flashed a half smile, leaning against the counter as he made his way over to her. "i should be off in the next hour if steve ends up getting his ass here on time. he had a date today and it's all he's bee rattling on about this week." she rolled her eyes before smirking. "please, as if i don't pick a great movie every time it's my turn."

Theo always loved going to the Family Video store after work to pick up a movie to watch. As much as he loved immersing himself in books, he also loved movies and how they told stories. There was something captivating about how movies could take you on a journey, and only need a couple of hours to do so. If Theo wasn't already working at the book shop, he would definitely be working at the Family Video store.

Going to get a movie was also an excuse to go see his friend Robin. Theo had become close to her after accidentally outing himself in front of her. They had mentioned how attractive Luke Skywalker was one day whilst discussing Star Wars with her. Robin gave Theo the are you gay? look and the rest was history.

Walking into the Family Video, Theo saw Robin behind the counter sorting through some movies. "Hey Robin!" He said as he approached the counter. "How long is your shift today? I was thinking we could watch a movie later tonight," Theo said resting their hands on the countertop. "It's your pick for a movie, so please pick a good one," they joked giving the other a playful grin.

elinor was trying her best to introduce alaire to all things that were offered in the world. from food to sights, he deserved to experience it all. the lab had not been kind to him and she was determined to show him that not everyone in the world was like that. she wants him to experience the good in life and she wants to experience it all with him as well.

she leaves the driver side open as she pumps gas, leaning in to talk to him. of course the worry of things that could go wrong while they are exploring is long, elie was determined to only focus on the positive thoughts of it all. no use worrying about what ifs and ruining their fun right? "it's onyl going to get bigger. i can only show you so much on four wheels. the rest would be accessible by boat or plane." she chuckled, finishing filling her car before climbing back into the driver seat. starting the car and getting back on the road.

The variety of food humans had to eat would never cease to astonish Alaire. Be it because he was raised in a lab. At that time, he only had access to things like raw meat. The lab had treated him much like a wild animal - it brings surprise to the fact Alaire is such a kind, softhearted person. How he managed to turn out such a way is astonishing to even himself.

He follows her as they pay as well as back to the car, excitedly getting inside of the vehicle once everything was put inside. "I'm excited too!" Alaire exclaims, smiling. He's honestly always been curious about the rest of the world so at the suggestion, Alaire couldn't have been more willing to go. Though part of him did worry about something happening while they were gone. Elie was quick to snuff out.. well, at least most of his worries. "The world is so much bigger than I thought it was, you know?" He's commenting on how small his world used to be. Now that he's free? There's so many places to see in this big, wide world.

"i wonder just how much we can really drive them crazy. can definitely answer to the wrong one but i feel like there is so much potential for so much more." juniper can't help but laugh. "you know the crier is going to be topper, right? man is going to break down so quickly."

"i'm sure if you ask my parents they will return the favorite. but i'm not ashamed. i was just as cool as i am now. even cooler actually." juniper chuckled and it only turns into a full laugh as he calls her highness. as if she was spoiled any time she wanted by him. "i can't traumatize our baby that quickly. i'd be a horrible mother." she pouted before shaking her head. "no i think we are good...for now."

All Quintin could do in the moment was groan and cover his face. She wouldn't even have to beg, his mom would gladly show them if prompted because she knew that Quintin wasn't going to give Juniper up and therefore, she was family. "Alright we won't! We'll make sure your feet look super cute and even painted before the kid pops out. Promise. Any other request your Highness?"

the funny thing is elie didn't catch feelings often. she was one to keep almost everyone at arms length because being close to someone gave them a chance to hurt you. so her actually having a crush and possibly thinking about doing something about it was pretty different for her. confiding in chrissy was easy cause she's one of her best friends but also cause the roles have been reversed before. "i almost hate that i'm admitting to this but steve. i mean, my brother has been bringing him around a lot and i don't know. he's different lately."

---☁︎｡⋆｡ Chrissy gave a smile at Elie's denial and then quick acceptance. She'd been there plenty of times with Elie in her place, so it was a no-brainer to listen. "A little obvious. And I pinky promise not to utter even a giggle," she affirmed, sticking her pinky out as pact.

elie really needs to have better will power because she can feel it crumbling around her. peter is too handsome for his own good. a smooth talker at that and it's becoming more difficult to keep her mind clear. "i have to help you out?" she asked with a slightly luagh that gets choked off as he clears the distance between them. he's so close and her eyes flick down to his lips before looking back at him. "tell me your favorite memory."

Peter lets go of the shirt and it covers his really very well defined abs again. Really her loss that she didn’t dare a peak. At her addition of “for now”, the corners of his mouth twitch. “I’ll see what I can do outside of surface level. You gotta help me out a bit. Were you thinking bout something above the surface or –” He leans down with his head even more, bringing their eyes on the same level, their faces just an inch away, and his voice becomes lower and raspier. “Below…?”

"you don't sound pathetic. it's a normal feeling to feel like the world is falling apart when your heart hurts. but loving someone is never minimal. it takes alot to open up to someone and they are the ones who are losing out on an amazing person."

⸻ "it feels so minimal, you know?" layla sighed, hating how broken she'd become. she hated feeling so defeated and at her wit's end. the one time she finally lets someone in and they ruin her trust and her heart in one night. "like . . . i know i'll get over this and i know i'll find someone else. but it also just kills so badly right now which sucks. i know i sound super pathetic right now."

"good cause i like that idea too. lets keep it that way for a little bit, yea?" miko asked with a soft but teasing smile as he pulled her close to him before snorting. "Glad we are on agreement there. i don't like even thinking about how they just skip shit sometimes."

"i do like the thought of being all yours." ripley admits with a smile. she really does like him and she doesn't know if she says it enough. he's a good guy she feels lucky to have him. she smiles, "oh i don't trust cruise ships and hotels and such. i mean if i'm not the one cleaning it i can only assume it was a half assed job."
