watched thru a comp of zeldas notes in botw and i wont lie im a bit disappointed w the retcon kinda making all the old villages you discover having been already ruined and abandoned even before the calamity. without this retconning the game really seemed so tragic and that hyrule really did fall and now like? its just hyrule castle, castle town n then the ranch that were destroyed by the calamity. just doesnt seem as impactful u know?
