A cardiophile enchanted by heart sounds, digital stethoscopes, and ECGs. 💓 Slow to respond due to social anxiety. 🥺

Using medical elastic bandages to secure ECG leads and stethoscopes is a great choice—stable, looks good, and the snug feel is comforting, but wearing it can be a bit tricky. 💗🎧

You gently place your fingertips on my chest, carefully locating the strong, steady point of my apical impulse. Your fingers sense that warm, subtle pulsation, accompanying my rhythmic beat—as if touching the purest essence of life itself.
Then, you carefully pick up the 3M Littmann Eko Core stethoscope, its silver chestpiece gleaming with a cool sheen. Once you confirm the precise spot, you press it firmly against my apical impulse. With gentle pressure, the clear and resonant sound of my heartbeat is electronically amplified, streaming into your ears—each beat flowing like a captivating love song, steady and full of life's vibrant rhythm, echoing deeply within your heart.
In that moment, it's more than a sound...

After running, squatting, and holding my breath, I finally completed the recordings today.
Feeling every beat through the stethoscope and tightly bound heart rate strap makes it all worth it.

Recently discovered a new way to fasten my stethoscope: medical tape.
• Pros: Lightweight and comfortable, no tightness like heart rate straps
• Cons:
 1. Moderate hold, less pressure than heart rate straps
 2. Takes longer to set up
 3. Disposable
Overall, it’s a pretty good method.

In this video, I place the electrode pads on my chest and back to force my heart to beat at 180 BPM. You can hear the ECG beeping in the video, but sorry for no real heartbeat sound recorded.

Synchronized Cardioversion on My Heart (Part 1)
When the shock was delivered, you could clearly hear my heart beating rapidly three times in a row.
This video provides a detailed demonstration of a 1J synchronized cardioversion procedure performed on a normal human subject. Synchronized cardioversion is a critical medical intervention used to restore normal heart rhythm in patients with certain arrhythmias.
In this video, we walk you through the step-by-step process, including patient preparation, equipment setup, synchronization with the cardiac cycle, and the delivery of a low-energy (1J) shock.
Please note that this is a simulated demonstration for educational purposes only. Always consult a licensed medical professional for clinical guidance.

Extremely nervous. My heart is in severe tachycardia.
Shock delivered...
You can hear real-time heart sounds in this video.
After a synchronized shock of 15 joules, my heart transitioned from sinus tachycardia to a more severe arrhythmic rhythm (I haven't identified exactly what it is yet).
To be honest, it felt exhilarating - I enjoy the sensation of tachycardia, especially when the ventricular rate hits an astonishing 260.
However, it is indeed very dangerous, so I wouldn't recommend anyone trying it.
Full video is on its way... 😉

My heart struggling under self pressure and breath holding.
It's a pity that it only skips 2 beats in this video.

New file recorded after running, this time my heart pumps a little slower (about 180 bpm at first). There is also a PVC near 00:51, which can be found clearly on the visualized ECG. Hope you enjoy it ~

Wandering with My Stethoscope
Share a story of mine.
This morning, I took off my shirt and glasses, using a strap to secure my Eko Core stethoscope to my chest—at the mitral area where the heartbeat is most intense—wandering in the dormitory corridor while listening to my own heartbeat. My heart was racing because I was both nervous and excited. I was afraid of being discovered because this might not be considered normal behavior to others, but it seemed that I could derive intense pleasure from this kind of "challenge".
In fact, I had done the same thing a few days ago without being discovered. I thought this time would be the same, that I could roam around the corridor and return to my dormitory safely without being noticed. However, misfortune befell me. Because I was so engrossed in the intense vibration in the stethoscope, I didn't notice the footsteps of others. A tragedy occurred after a turn, The owner of the footsteps saw my bare upper body and the stethoscope on my chest, perhaps the most incomprehensible sight he had ever seen in his life. I couldn't see his expression clearly, but he obviously paused for a few seconds, passing by me in astonishment.
My heart was instantly ignited, my heart rate skyrocketed. I felt embarrassed, but also thrilled. I pretended to calmly continue walking forward, then accidentally encountered several more people, and I was flustered. But it didn't matter anymore. I was both afraid of being discovered and enjoying the feeling of my heart rate soaring. So, let me continue to enjoy it.

Pressure Heart Sound
Explored the reaction of my heart under self gravity pressure again. ❤️‍🔥
Met lots of PVCs, they are so cute and fascinating. 🥳
