@na-dineee: To be honest, with every RWRB x reality show AU, I do pause and think: would Henry really sign up for that? BUT—I’m a huge fan of this author, and I trust them completely to treat Alex and Henry with all the love (and chaos) they deserve. Also: Too Hot To Handle banning kissing, touching, and sex makes for a deliciously cruel challenge. Twenty glorious chapters of Porn with Feelings? Yeah, baby. I’m in.

@na-dineee: We’re all chamel stans, right? She’s nailed Alex and Henry time and again, and some of the fandom’s all-time greats came straight from her keyboard. And this AU? Never would I have dreamed it up: pro rodeo rider Alex vs pro polo player Henry, with tags promising Friends to Lovers, Flirting and Banter, Falling in Love, Angst with a Happy Ending, and a bit of Slow Burn.

There's multiple pieces of art, a map of the world she's created, and one more surprise throughout the fic that I hate to spoil, it's just that good!!!! Add to that the fact that this a strangers to lovers slowburn fairytale with all the fluff, action, and drama that that implies (mostly fluff, but there are two places where my comments in the doc read, "grabs popcorn and cookie dough"), and you have my favorite fic posted so far this year! Do check the tags before diving in, then sit back and be prepared for the absolutely phenomenal adventure that is the story of dragon Alex and his prince!

after a lifetime of hearing about aragorn but not reading the books or watching the movies, genuinely nothing could have prepared me for his actual introduction. the hobbits picked this man out of a dumpster. he is a textbook softspoken angst prince and he is covered in dirt and he probably smells so bad. he’s the coolest man alive and is so casual about it. his number one skill is Knowing Where They Are and his number two skill is Having A Horrible Destiny That Torments Him. tolkien got it in one i’m afraid aragorn son of arathorn you are the guy of all time

i cannot emphasise enough how much you need to create something. anything. it doesn't matter if you suck. you don't need to monetise it, or make it your career. you can restart an old hobby; you can start from scratch. it doesn't matter. you just need to hold something and be able to say "i did that". baking, drawing, painting, writing, coding, crafts, whatever. make something ! you cannot have all your hobbies be a form of consumption. it's fun, it's great in its own right. but the single best action to make yourself feel better, to calm your mind, to gain self esteem, is to Create

Possible Bobby resurrection foreshadowing in 9-1-1 season 8

1. Bobby dresses as a vampire for halloween in 8x05 2. The 118 are called to rescue a suicidal man in 8x08 who gets off the ledge when Brad promises Captain Banner will wake up from his coma 3. In 8x08, Chimney cameos on Hotshots as Captain Banner's doctor who helps revive him from a coma 4. The 118 rescue a woman in 8x11 who has been buried alive and grasps Bobby to pull herself out of her grave 5. As Chimney receives the antiviral in 8x15, there is a bright white flash that mirrors the flash during Buck's coma dream 6. As he's leaving the lab in 8x15, Chimney takes home a lab rat, likely the rat who had previously received the other dose of antiviral 7. In 8x15, as Bobby says goodbye to Athena and prays in his last moments, the soundtrack is Work Song by Hozier, the lyrics of which describe a man who is drunk and suicidal before meeting his love, who he would dig himself out of his grave to get back to 8. In the final moment of 8x15, we see Bobby's helmet left behind at the scene, mirroring Buck's helmet being left behind after the lightning strike
