Payless ShoeSource is an American footwear retailer brought in the Philippines. I love how they set up their store. It is overwhelming to see a room filled with shoes. This I guess is one of their strategies, they attract you with a lot of shoes, and it is actually effective. They have different types of shoes for kids, men and women. They also offer bags and sunglasses. It is a shoe store that is currently expanding in the Philippines. Given that they made us feel that we are like in a restaurant of shoes, it is not surprising that they would continue to expand and open new stores here in the Philippines.

We are in the 21st Century where in the fastest way to build your brand is by connecting with your patrons and prospective customers through the use of social media. Almost all humans alive on earth, who is capable of buying, have social media accounts. Those who are starting up should really practice the use of social media. It could be considered as a necessity. It is close to impossible to reach global markets without using social media. Social Media is used to reach people and create awareness. Using effective social media strategies is one key to get your customers know your brand. And when you learn how to use social media to get everyone know about you, your product and its benefits, it would be easier to reach the world.

The Story of Honey Creme: One Shot

Once upon a time, in the land of Taiwan, a Korean inspired ice cream shop was born. It is not your ordinary ice cream as Honey Creme uses South Korea top organic milk ice cream recipes. It has deep milk flavor made from organic ingredients. They launch their first store in March 21, 2014 and just after almost 2 years they have opened branches in USA, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Philippines. How is that even possible in a short span of time? I guess it’s their ice cream presentation that is so innovative and eye catchy, everyone trying it would not miss on posting their selfies with it. I love their signature ice cream topped with honey comb, I just find it so unique. Who would thought of topping cotton candy and popcorn on ice cream? what a brilliant idea. Bench goes Global

Their vision “To be a recognized world brand among the best world brand,” is not far from becoming true. They started in 1987 by opening up a small store of men’s t-shirts until they continue to grow and expand. Today they are one of the most famous clothing stores in the Philippines. Currently, they have stores in United States, The Middle East and China making them one of the few Filipino brands going global. The reason for their success is by acquiring numbers of famous celebrity endorsers. Just here in the Philippines, almost all of the celebrities you could think of are endorsers of Bench. They are also using international celebrities to promote the brand. One of which is Lee Min Ho, my favorite korean actor. How they see me.

So this is what I got when we had this activity in brand management where we stick papers on our back and let our classmates write their perceptions about the person.
I would agree that I look Serious. Shy/Tahimik...yah I don’t talk a lot, except when I’m with my friends. Very Powerful, I didn’t see that coming. Someone said I’m Funny, maybe that person is a close friend of mine. Masipag? haha nooo I’m super lazy. Brave? hahaha well I am brave enough to stand up when I know I’m right. So I would interpret my paper this way: “You’re so serious! you need to talk and socialize more!”
