Saturday I get to hang out and a terrific indie bookstore - the Book Bar in Palmyra, PA with a group of talented YA authors. Stop by and say Hi if you're in the area. Pick up a great new read, a tasty coffee, tea, or mocktail, and some delicious local baked goods!

A To Z Book Review: Medieval Myths & Mysteries By Dorsey Armstrong
My letter “M” pick for the A to Z Book Challenge was MEDIEVAL MYTHS & MYSTERIES by Dorsey Miller. I fully admit that this was not my original pick for the letter M, but I “read” most of my books on Audible and my original pick, MURDER OUTSIDE THE BACK DOOR by John Tomassi was unfortunately read by an AI voice. I have so many book show, festival, and con badges. This is only 1/8th of the collection! I need to go through and toss some but I like to keep a few of the more memorable ones hanging by my writing desk for motivation. 🙂

I paid a visit to Bookish in King of Prussia, PA. They're a great little bookstore on the upper level of the mall by Dick's Sporting Goods. They always have the most unique stuff, including these gorgeous classics and beautiful journals.

Here's a question for the masses: what book or book series would you most like to see made into a movie or TV show? I know everyone is frothing at the mouth for ACOTAR as a series, but I truly feel that Throne of Glass could easily be the next Game of Thrones (and end much better!) in the right hands. I'd also love to see Brandon Sanderson's SKYWARD series make it to a streaming channel. The world with the Defiant Defense Force is so interesting and M-Bot is hilarious fun. What are your picks?

A To Z Book Review: Love, Mom By Iliana Zander
My letter “L” pick for the A To Z reading challenge was LOVE, MOM by Iliana Zander. This psychological thriller pulled me in and I devoured it in one sitting. Mackenzie Casper has a famous mother, a best-selling author whose dark, twisted thrillers have a dedicated worldwide fanbase. When her mother dies in an accident, fans across the world are left grieving, and the investigators are asking:…

I'm really looking forward to hanging with my fellow YA authors, Lindsay Bandy, A.E. Faulkner, and Tory Gates at the author event on June 21st at the Book Bar in Palmyra, PA. The store is cozy, the refreshments are top-notch, and the company can't be beat.

I'm very happy to announce that along with a book signing on June 21st, my fellow author, Tory Gates will be recording an episode of his podcast on-site at the Book Bar in Palmyra, PA . I had the pleasure of being interviewed previously by Tory when I was at the Writers Conference of Northern Appalachia last year, and he's a fun and engaging host as well as a talented author. I'm really looking forward to this!
