WAIT if you think about it the just like me reprise is like a twisted broken reflection of salt and pepper in alternate reality show because YEAH they realized that they aren’t just like each other and man what could it have been like if they realized that and realized that’s ok. if they were able to balance out peppers logic with salts chaos. if they just tried just tried a little to understand each other and meet that point because that’s what we see everyone else do in the episode we see lightbulb and test tube come to an understanding we see taco and mic have that little moment of agreement at the beginning we see the PHENOMENAL moment with lightbulb and paintbrush but salt and pepper don’t get that and it’s HEARTBREAKING to hear the just like me reprise, the very core of the episode, and then for it to cut to show pepper all alone, to highlight how her and salt didn’t have that understanding.
