Princess Sarah is a great lover of all sorts of art, though she has most experience with the art of her time period and culture. While some art forms may surprise and unnerve her upon first experience, she always tries to understand new forms of artistic expression, even if they are not clear to her at first.

Music is one of these fine art forms, and she delights in it. She enjoys dance and the grace of movement and how music and dance go hand in hand -- as well as the art that exists in them separately. Being so fond of music, she is practiced in a few instruments, namely voice, piano, harp, and flute. Embarrassingly enough, she has not been able to quite grasp the playing of the lute properly, though she has tried multiple times in the past (her hands are a bit too small and dainty for pressing chords and plucking strings, though she makes do with the harp).

As far as what music means to the princess -- it is a mode of peace and tranquility; a mode of expression that transcends speech.
