I’m writing quite a long story. It’s a little hard to sit at a desk right now due to a back injury, so I figured I’d try tumblr as a little medium for the tale I have to tell.
lol 😆 and then I got some writers block. I’m struggling a bit, this book is taking a long time. I know it will take a long time and boy golly is it a beautiful doozy.
Anyway, I’m Katrina or Trina or the variation of my name that moves you. My passion is storytelling.
Oh hey the block fell down.

Atop the mouth of the volcano, the odd couple stood. Nina brought Sklyir to this place for a single purpose. She simply had to push and Howl would be hers. The enchantress had been desperate when she first crafted this plan but preparations caused time to pass. Nina was no longer confident that casting Sklyir into the flames would yield the results she wanted.
The witch had begun to accept that no amount of sacrifices would return Howl to her.
The odd couple stood side by side, but Nina’s mind was away again, with Howl again. She peaked through his curtains and saw a happy family around a decorated tree. She turned aside and brought her presence back to the volcano.
Nina would not cast this man into the fire for another man’s love. She would not destroy Sklyir. Howl was gone from her, Nina would make do without.
Nina reached for Sklyir and he put an arm around her shoulders. Together they breathed in hot air and marveled the landscape. Sklyir looked down at Nina, a small smile on his lips slowly began to widen. The woman couldn’t hear joints snapping open over the gurgling of the lava below. Six rows of jagged teeth were showing when the monster pushed her.
Nina hardly had enough time to mutter “Fuck,” under her breath before was engulfed.

A little practice from when I took my first painting class in community college.
I remember reading one of the comments on the discussion board, “I thought this was supposed to be a beginner’s class.”
