Fun fact: the guys at our college’s geology department prop out the doors with their samples. I totally understand why but as someone whose work with samples is necessarily super delicate and sterile it fucks me up so bad
#s/o to the geo student at my school who would juggle his samples if you let him talk to you for too long#i fit in somewhere here because my samples need to be hella purified anyway so if i drop them on the counter or whatever i just.#recrystallize them. and then pull a cleaner NMR than before i dropped it lol
