That poor lonely artist wishes only for his lover...Hello there. My name is Leia, and you are in the house of the painter Reon. He isn't home right now, but if you would like to browse, you are more than free to do so. Should you need anything, I will be right behind you. Please do stay away from the room on the very end; that is my own room, and while it houses paintings, I would appreciate if you left it well alone.((No special status.))

Open | A Sound Experiment
She wrapped a strand of hair around her finger, trying to occupy the blank space in her mind so that she didn't start getting complacent with her footsteps. Without actually feeling the concrete under her feet, Leia had often in the past walked right through small objects in her way, and had to leave the area. Even though most don't have enough of a spiritual sense to pin her down usually, passing through something seemed to draw attention.
She 'climbed' into a tree in the park and sat on the branch, feet dangling low, and began to sing.
Leia almost favored the way her tone echoed as a spirit over how it sounded when she was alive.
She relished in that thought just a bit too long, and her concentration dropped enough for her to fall right through the tree branch. The impact on the ground was nothing, but the people that turned to help unnerved her.
"I promise, I'm fine..."

"Well, considering I've met plenty of ghosts and not a single one has had enough composure to be able to enter a living thing, I think pretty much anything is more likely." Leia herself could possess living things, and other spirits were often jealous. Not that she would actually do it.
She tilts her head. "I'm perfectly alright." She takes a deep breath; this kid looked like he wasn't going to freak out too much. "Just dead," Leia says with a small laugh.
Flowers strewn about the area are seen by...
It was strange—that was clear enough, and it was making him slightly on edge. More than that, the trick of the light was… because it was definitely just that! At least this woman seemed friendly enough… if he was intimidated on top of things, he definitely wouldn’t be keeping it together!
He gives a quiet laugh in return, saying, “Is that more likely than being possessed?” Well, Len wasn’t one for scary movies, though flowers weren’t really the stuff of his nightmares. He looks back at them, unsure how to proceed, but wanting to ask. He swallows, letting his eyes drift awkwardly away from her. “Are you alright?” She did… seem a little nervous, didn’t she?

Leia couldn't help but giggle at his shock. "That's right. I live in a cute little house on eighth street with my lover who's still alive; or, rather, I live in one of his paintings." She pulled her hand back, shaking it out. The feeling of passing through something was strange, even if not unpleasant.

Did his hand just… Nagisa knew how much he loved anything that was categorized as horror and paranormal, but the thought of having a first-hand experience with it had never really crossed his mind. Still looking at their hands, the blond blinked at them before lifting his gaze back at Leia. “Are you… a spirit then?”

"He certainly does. We live in the same house; my vessel is actually one of his paintings. The poor man threw himself into shock after my death, but it's really a masterpiece." She sighed. "Such are artists, though. I used to lock myself in a room for hours..."
Leia shook her head to clear her thoughts. "I'm sorry, I'm rambling. But yes, he's aware. For a while I'm sure he thought he was hallucinating, though."

Flowers strewn about the area are seen by...
Gumillia shrugged, silently showing that it didn’t particularly matter. Who Satan was held no interest to her, considering she made it sound as if the character was fictional. Fictional characters really held no interest for the girl.
"… I see." First Michaela, now this woman. The strange things that people did for love. Of course, Michaela did not "watch over" her love, as she had other duties to do. But it was for Clarith that she died, more or less, as she stayed behind to protect the girl. Then again, didn’t Gumillia stay behind for the same reason? Well, in the end, it didn’t matter. "Does he know of this?"

"Strange, it's rather widespread." Perhaps the woman was younger than she had thought; that would explain quite a few things. Or she really was just from far away. That would explain even more.
"I don't have difficulty believing, it's just new." Leia pulled her hand back, considering it wasn't the most pleasant of experiences to pass through things. "Well, my love is still here. I'm waiting for him and watching over when he needs it." She spoke as if she were very proud of herself for doing so.

"The term is not familiar." Of course, they spoke of the Master of the Hellish Yard on occasion, but there was no way for Gumillia to make the connection between the two. Besides, the Master was yet to awaken, so he or she wasn’t really an issue.
Gumillia watched in surprise as the woman passed through her. “… How strange, that a spirit would have difficulty believing in magic.” From Gumillia’s tone, it was impossible to tell if she was being sarcastic or not. “Why is your soul trapped?” It was right and natural for souls to ascend or decend to one of the yards, wasn’t it?

"It's been a long time since I've been called that. You can just call me Leia, I don't mind." She smiled, deciding just what to do. "Well, you see, it's unusual like this." Leia held out her own hand as if to grasp his, but wound up running her hand straight through his and leaving it there. She gave a thumbs-up with the hand in his. "See? People don't notice me because I'm not here."

"Nice to meet you, Leia-chan," he responded with a smile. "Mine’s Hazuki Nagisa. But calling me Nagisa is just fine." Overly-friendly as always, aren’t we. "And how is this unusual?" Then reaching his arm out, the swimmer offered his hand to her for a handshake, further confirming that he only wants to get along with her.

"Lucifer. You know, the devil." Leia laughed lightly, and wondered just where this Lucifenia place was if they weren't aware of that. With a name like that, she certainly wouldn't visit.
"Well, especially since you can see me. Most people can't, outside of my home, and I usually can't physically interact..." Leia held out her hand to the woman's shoulder, and the sort of tingling feeling she got when she passed through someone came back. "See?"

Flowers strewn about the area are seen by...
Gumillia frowned. “I’m not familiar with that name,” Gumillia said. Clearly, there was some sort of cultural differences that needed to be sorted out. Where exactly had Gumillia gotten herself to? It was clearly a different place than where she was from, if this woman didn’t even know about Lucifenia.
"…" Well, that was an absurd claim. Dead people could not speak, unless a rather complicated spell was performed. Still, people were staring. “That is difficult to believe,” Gumillia admitted, raising her eyebrows.

"Well, there's nothing really wrong, per se. It's just unusual for anyone over about 15 to even notice me, so it caught me off guard when you actually responded." She was glad that he didn't find it too strange, and smiled warmly. "My name is Leia, by the by." She kicked the flower blooming at her feet into the ground.

Well, that’s quite the unusual first question. He’s had people ask him for his name or purpose for being in a certain place before, but this was definitely the first time he’s been asked for his age right away instead. And certainly she might have had reasons for it, so he went along with her and responded. “Seventeen. I just turned 17 two weeks ago. Uhm.. Is it a problem, miss?”

She was a bit surprised that he had actually responded. People she waved at never looked her in the eyes. "Um, this might seem rather strange, but would you mind telling me how old you are? I'd tell you why first, but, er... It's nothing strange, I promise you." Crap, I sound like a pedophile.

Noticing that the woman was addressing her greeting towards him, Nagisa greeted her back with a smile and a nod. “Hello!” he said as he tucked a few locks behind his ear that have been blown by the breeze that past them.

"Oh, that's certainly strange then." This doesn't look like it's going to work out like I planned. She tried to calm herself down and make it appear as if she were just confused.
"How strange! Perhaps I've been possessed." Leia laughed half-heartedly. "Joking, of course. Maybe there's a practicing magician nearby who's picked me as his target."

Flowers strewn about the area are seen by...
Eh…? Did she look a bit nervous? Len hadn’t thought they were talking about anything particularly distressing, or personal at all. “Mhmm, I walk past here every day, and…" W-wait, was that a flower growing just now? He shakes his head, blinking rapidly. That would have to be this imagination, right?

"Ah, well, there’s never been any," he continues, utterly bewildered now. Still trying to convince himself it was an optical illusion, watching the flowers very closely now, he jokes, “Jeez, you’d think they were magic or something." Wait, after seeing that, that’s not very funny!

"I've never really heard of magic users in the first place, is the thing. But no, never heard of Lucifenia. Sounds and awful lot like Lucifer, though considering it's a place I hope there isn't any resemblance to that legend." She sighed.
Might as well just come out with it, right? "Secretive? Well, I don't have to be. I'm dead. Maybe you haven't noticed, but people are staring at you for talking to a pile of red flowers in a field where they really should be to start with."

Flowers strewn about the area are seen by...
Gumillia frowned. “How so? You aren’t incredibly secretive.” It wasn’t as if she were hiding away, making sure that no one could see her. She was standing out in plain sight.
Gumillia nodded, understanding her confusion. “Elluka Clockworker is one of the last magic users, it’s understandable that you wouldn’t know of her … But, you haven’t heard of Lucifenia? It was my understanding that everyone had heard of the kingdom of treacherous inhumanity.” That’s the way Elluka made it sound, at any rate.

"It's a bit of a strange thing you can see me anyway." It seemed rather safe to say something like that around someone who claimed to be friends with witches.
"True magicians are nonexistant. Anyone magical is a fraud, for sure; either illusion or science used in a way people don't understand..." She tilted her head to the side, kicking at the flowers. "I've never heard of Lucifenia, actually. Is that where you're from...?"

Flowers strewn about the area are seen by...
Gumillia frowned. “I don’t understand,” she said. What did the woman mean ‘in her condition?’ Was there something wrong with her? Gumillia had a feeling that Elluka would know, but Gumillia barely knew anything about humans.
Gumillia stared at the woman. “Well, where I’m from, magicians are not common, but not unheard of. My mentor Elluka Clockworker is one of the few magicians left, and she works as the Court Sorceress in Lucifenia. I assumed they were heard of everywhere.”

"I'm afraid it's hard for me to research things in my condition." Leia couldn't help but laugh at the fact that the one flower she had chosen to pick up was one that naturally occured red.
"Despite the fact that true magicians are indeed unheard of, I'm not too concerned with people seeing me. That is, most people can't." She shook her head as a red daisy sprung up. "I can't say that I've ever met a sorceress, either, and it's a wonder you can say something like that so casually."

Flowers strewn about the area are seen by...
Gumillia frowned slightly. The woman didn’t do it on purpose? How incredibly strange. “I’ve never heard of someone doing magic on accident," Gumillia replied. She bent down, plucking one herself and looking at it. “It is something you should perhaps look into," she said, inspecting the flower.
"Of course, if people saw you walking where the flowers were, they’d probably assume you were a magician, which isn’t incredibly unheard of. Rare, sure, but no one questions Elluka-sama’s position as Sorceress, so it can’t be too uncommon," Gumillia mused, looking to the woman for her response.

"Magic? No, it just sort of happens. I'm afraid I don't know the cause, miss." She was surprised that the woman made the connection so fast; most were a little slow on the uptake.
"My name is Leia. Nice to meet you as well." Elluka seemed a bit too similar for comfort, but she didn't feel like pressing the issue.
"Most people don't walk up and ask if I'm magical, you know."
Flowers strewn about the area are seen by...
The Sorceress walked over, slowly and with a kind smile on her face so not as to scare the look-a-like. She smiled and put her hands together.
"Flowers appear where you step. Is that a nature type magic?" Elluka questioned with curiosity.
"Oh, ah, I’m Elluka Clockworker. Pleasure to meet you~" She examined the girl more closely, feeling the other wasn’t human. Spirit, maybe?

"Len? It's nice to meet you too." She hummed a bit, placing a particularly bright carnation behind her ear from the small bundle she had gathered. She nearly jumped when he spoke again.

"Is that so?" She panicked a little bit; that would make it even more obvious, especially since as she spoke another blossom sprouted at her feet. "I don't come around here very often. Perhaps I should leave them, then...?"
Flowers strewn about the area are seen by...
Ah, was that it? He smiles slightly, relieved that he hadn’t upset her, though he was a little confused as to how that might be strange. Were people that distrustful now…? Len didn’t think so, but maybe it applied in some cases. He steps a bit closer as he watches her picking flowers, frowning slightly. Wasn’t something… slightly off, about this situation?

"Ah, I’m Len. It’s nice to meet you," he says, shaking his head and smiling again, before looking back at the blossoms. Almost absent-mindedly, he says, “Flowers don’t usually grow here." Oh. That was what had felt weird, then.

"It almost sounds as if your cat's been running errands!" She laughed a bit. "It's nice to meet you, Irina."
She took the cat in her arms, cradling it and stroking along its back, nuzzling its forehead. "Such nice fur. The color's one I've never seen on an animal before, either..." Leia figured she might as well point out that it was indeed strange to her.
Flowers of a strange color at her feet.
"Irina," Abyss said, stating her real name. “Irina Clockworker. It’s very wonderful to meet you, Leia," she smiled. “Do you want to pet it? I’m pretty sure it’s tired from all the running-around it had to do today…"
She let the cat jump down from her shoulder, into her arms and brought it over to Leia. The cat seemed to give its consent.
