his first east cost christmas. it’s snowing outside as the two of them are inside decorating jeans tree. trent remembers being glued to his own apartment windows a week ago when it all started. he’s never seen snow before, being from california & never leaving was a big factor. trent was sitting on the couch curled up with a blanket & a mocha when jean asked for the bright blue ball. untangling himself from the fleece, he puts his cup down on the table to do as jean requested. ❝ matches your eyes. ❞ he jests, holding it out to her.

she stands on her tip toes, reaching up to hang an ornament, humming along with the christmas music that was playing on the stereo. she turns to him, blue eyes bright with happiness. "can you hand me that one?" she points to a sparkling blue and silver bauble near his foot. "i think it'd look perfect on this branch!"

its worth mentioning in verses where trent isn’t experimented on, he does end up changing his last name from peacock to snow anyways. it varies by verse, but he choses it after an anomaly he cannot quite get out of his head.

where have the months gone ? it’s christmas time again, & here louis is spending it with john. he’s grateful for this as his father’s passing still weighs over him months later. fuck cancer. oliver hope loved christmas, and spending it without him for the first time was going to be rough. the familiar box brings a smile to lou’s face, after all this time, john still had that silly little tree-topper. ❝ still sentimental as ever. ❞ louis reaches to touch the woden box, tracing the design carefully. ❝ it’s clearly been through a lot. just like us. ❞ he adds fondly.

he comes in with a very familiar box in his hands. at first glance, the box itself is kind of a simple wooden affair with a christmas tree carved into the top, kind of worn down by age and there's a few burn marks around the edges. however, its contents hold a beloved treasure: a beautiful and delicate sparkling star tree topper handed down through the moore family for generations. he offers the box to lou. "it somehow survived the fire," he says quietly. "i haven't actually used it since our last christmas together. i-i couldn't even really look at it. i figured it would be perfect for our first christmas together again."

did a little cleaning & feel better ! for the time being, joey is going to be on hiatus. i am completely reworking her background. her main ghost background will only be tweaked, but her cult involvement is going to be removed from a.hs cu.lt completely. that is going to be a major rewrite i need time to work on. as far as ahs goes, the cult rewrite will take place in the world of ahs but that will be it! aside from that i am keeping two verses.
