One of my favorite things to see is random people trying to interact with unfamiliar outdoor cats. Just standing there with a hand out, making kissy noises, maybe meowing at the cat while it ignores them. Mankind at its best and least dignified

He has not said he’s against gay representation - he just sees Dean and Castiel’s relationship as platonic and Dean as straight and he’s not the only one who thinks this. You might read into the subtext, not everyone does, there’s a whole big chunk of audience out there NOT seeing the show the same way as you. It’s not bi-erasure because seeing two men have an emotional connection and expressing affection for each other doesn’t always have to mean they are romantically involved. Giving shout outs to fans alternative view of the show is something this show does all the time without it having to mean more than that.

Jensen has not said he’s against playing a gay character or that he’d leave the show over Destiel - he has played a bisexual character before but because he’s never kissed a guy on-screen means that doesn’t count? So the validation you want is two guys making out? 

Given the way the cast, the crew and he himself have been harassed over Destiel is it any wonder he expresses ‘concern’ over it or reacts the way he does.Given that his professional reputation is being smeared by fans who won’t bother fact finding and who take things out of context to call him homophobic I’m not surprised Jensen wants to avoid the subject all together because if he goes along with it he’s queer-baiting, if he avoids it or states Cas and Dean are just friends he’s bashed for it.

Face it the only acceptable response from shippers is for the show and Jensen to be backed into a corner and make the ship canon for you regardless of anyone else’s interpretation because you feel entitled to have only your interpretation played out. 

You wanted them to stop queer-baiting. You wanted to be acknowledged that you’ve not been seeing things - you’ve got that. The 200th was your shout-out, Dean and Castiel barely share scenes and are both partnered with women, no queer-baiting. Keep this up and they’ll only communicate through Sam to risk not ‘queer-baiting’ and setting you off again. Is that what you want?

Jensen recently said in the context of ‘keeping it in the family’ that he’d be cool with it if Jared had a daughter because his daughter JJ would have 3 options. You can’t explain away everything Jensen does or say that doesn’t fit with the homophobic douche you’re trying to paint him as because there’s too much to show he isn’t. There’s too much to show he’s a good guy who is simply sick of the crap he gets.
