After I finish my tags and get a theme up on the new blog I’ll start following people. I need to make a new promo and set up a navigation page as well. The current url is catladylenny, but it’s probably not going to stay that way. I’ll either change it to lenny-pooh (with the dash bc the without dash url was already taken) or something else. The new blog is a mess, but you’re welcome to follow me there already if you’d like to.

Lenny is moving over to a new blog at some point in the near future. All threads and interactions are being kept. I've been thinking about doing this for a while, because the tags on this blog are messy and when I first started tumblr rp I didn't know what I was doing. The url will likely be the same one, just without the dash.

This was a million times more nerve wrecking than had been expected. How did his brother and Mary make this stuff look so natural? He bit at his cheek as he gazed down at Lenny, wishing that she’d somehow develop the ability to read minds, as asking such a question out loud was scary, even now when he’d told himself that he would, where he held onto her hands and had tried to say the words back all that came out was the softest of whispers that only the best hearing of nearby dogs would be able to hear. “Yeah?”, he sighed, mint eyes closing over as he took a deep breath. If he didn’t take this risk then he’d never know, but to risk this friendship was also a rather scary thought.

“W-well I can’t say about marriage or anything like that”, he laughed a little nervously, cheeks pretty red by now and that dizzy feeling building inside his skull. How did people do this? How did you just come out in the open and express your thoughts and feelings? What if Lenny found him weird or didn’t want anything to do with him after all this!? “…what if that person was standing here, right now…holding your hands and smiling inervously?”

Blue eyes started into mint as the blonde waited for an answer. Lenny could tell he was feeling just as nervous and awkward as she was. She didn’t know what was making him feel that way. Was it because of what she’d said? 

Lenny really did want to get married someday, but not until she was in a serious long term relationship. She wasn’t one to just jump head first into things. Spontaneity wasn’t something Lenny practiced. The blonde was much more cautious.

Hearing those words made her heart pound wildly in her chest. Her stomach fluttered and tingled with the previously mentioned butterflies. Her cheeks were still the same dark shade of red upon hearing his confession. Was he ..... Was he asking her out? Did he want her to be his girlfriend? If so, this was a first for her, but she wasn’t opposed to the idea. In fact, she really liked him, a lot.

“Golly .... Um ..... Are --- Are you s-saying you w-want to b-be my b-boyfriend?”she asked.

He would do his best with pronouncing names, no matter who they were. Hearing it made it easier than having to guess, especially when names got a little tricky. Those that were written, usually in books, and never heard would be a hit or miss. Not that many would know in the first place.

Ryou took no offense to her words, he didn’t see anything offensive in them in the first place. He’d only give a smile and a short chuckle. “I know, it’s nice to find another kindred spirit.”

“Oh- yes!” The boy took one of the seats at her table. The only thing he really had to do was deliver these papers. He could always meet up with the others who took him into their group, but…branching out was nice. And he couldn’t always be around them. Having other people he could speak with was what he wanted.

Now was bringing up something to talk about, a part he normally failed at with his odd interests. He’d learned history and the supernatural were very…strange things to be interested in, but he never stopped pursuing them. “Um, that book you were reading?” Perhaps this will be something easier to speak about. “Was that for a class or for fun?” 

Lenny smiled softly at his comment, glad that he wasn’t offended by her choice of words. The blonde’s speech impediment made it much harder to get the right words across so sometimes she said the wrong thing on accident.

She clasped her fingers together, placing her hands in her lap, as she watched him take a seat. It was nice to have someone to talk to and she felt overjoyed inside that he had agreed to sit with her. It wasn’t everyday that people were open to making friends with the awkward blonde.

“Oh.” The blonde hummed awkwardly. Blue eyes glanced down at the romance novel that laid in front of her on the table. “Uh --- f-for --- for f-fun. Th-This b-book is my f-favorite.” She’d read A Walk To Remember multiple times and it was one that she knew almost word for word.

“I’ve traveling right now, but hey, whenever I’m in town I’d love to drop by and give them some pets.” Mokuba said with a grin. “Ooh, are they allowed to have treats? I know of a cafe that makes adorable little pet pastries. I can bring some.” he offered.

Lenny beamed. “Th-That’s --- That’s gr-great!”she replied. She was definitely going to hold him to that. “Yes. Th-They love them.” The blonde wasn’t opposed to him bringing them treats at all. She just wasn’t sure if they’d want them. The cats were very cautious when it came to who they took food from.
