So random thing I remembered was that my Mom had reported me missing like twice before

Once was because I fell asleep behind the couch and they didn't find me till my dumbass like crawled out from behind it

The last was because I was so deep into sleep that when I fell off the bed and was covered in the blankets I continued to just sleep for several hours, I was a very confused child when I finally my woke up

SO YEAH I was missing twice while in my own house

I know its been a hot minute since I’ve posted anything but I’m planning on maybe cleaning out my blog especially of my au’s as they’ve changed A LOT since I originally started posting them and I’d rather talk about the newer characters I have and updated versions of old ones

Most ocs and shit aren't made for a massive audience, isn't made for morals, isn't made for the INTERNET TO SHIT ON

Sure its silly, its funny and super colorful but at least it isn't so fucking boring

Like I have a oc thats almost basically 7 years old now and I still fucking love that child of mine BECAUSE it was just made for me by myself by a younger self that found it fun to use bright colors like fucking PURE CYAN and I fucking love that color now, I have ocs that I still hold onto because I find them fun, I find them endearing to have come from such a silly time in my life where I basically had no concept to a color palette or colors that worked well becuase I was just doing it for fun like a child should be ALLOWED to do and I still enjoy having those ocs just as they are

Plus you almost can't find a genuine colorful funny oc that isn't a joke character because most children now days are growing up with this pushed into their face all the time so now they're forcing their creativity into the confines of other peoples preferences instead of for their own fun and that just

Just fucking sucks and is depressing

Tumblr, you’re killing art.

This is a horrible website for art. This is a horrible website for artists.

The only art that ever gets attention here is fanart, or artists who already have thousands of followers. 

Nothing new is ever added to the mix, nothing else ever gets out there, because you guys see art, and while you might think it’s cool, you keep on scrolling because it isn’t Undertale or Homestuck or whatever sports anime is popular right now. You only give attention to fanart, and even that is an elitist club where attention is only given to the chosen few fandoms.

Artists who create original work are getting less and less support all the time. I’m feeling it, and I’m seeing my friends get less support too. We’re losing followers. Our note count is going down.

“Do art for yourself!” People say. But that only goes so far. No matter how you slice it, getting ignored and snubbed constantly on pieces you spent precious hours on while you watch the notes on a quick fanart doodle soar into the thousands hurts. We don’t create art to place it in a dark room and never be looked at. No artist ever posts art here thinking “I hope no one looks at this and it gets no notes.”

Encouragement and praise go a long way to help artists with original ideas, but you guys don’t care about original ideas. They’re falling by the wayside. Soon there won’t be any new things to make fanart of. How many movies that have come out in recent years have been sequels or remakes? A lot more than new, original concepts, that’s for sure. When you look around in a few years and find that everything is stale, boring, and overdone, know that you have no one to blame for that but yourself.

Ideas need support. Ideas need to be shared and fostered and encouraged. Otherwise, they die off into nothing.

So I just got my glasses yesterday for like distance and ngl

The best way to describe it is like if you were constantly only seeing things in 144p then suddenly thanks to glass seeing things in 720p

Like I finally got to see the stars and moon clearly after like years of being unable to even see the stars (it wasn't bright/big enough for me to even tell) and seeing a half moon as a blurry crescent
