A Mother At Young Age

Being a mother is quiet hard and difficult. There's a lot of jobs and reponsibilities that you need to handle. A lot of duties to be carried out of everyday. A mother should be: A cook that prepares food for her family; A housekeeper who cleans all messes and do all of the house chores; A teacher who teaches her children about everything, on how to think wise and teaches what is wrong and what is right; A good adviser to her children and of course, a wife to her husband. All of these are just some of a mother's responsibilities, but how can you be a mother if you still need the support of your own parents? How can you be a good mother if you're still in the guidance of your parents?

Teenage Pregnancy, also known as adolescent pregnancy is a pregnancy in females under the age of 20. Here, in the Philippines, according to the Final results from the 2013 National Demographic and Health Survey of the Philippine Statistic Authority that one in ten young filipino women age 15 to 19 is already a mother or pregnant with its first child. At age 15-19 women has begun childbearing and start raising a child. It is a very common issue nowadays specially to the developing countries. But, what are the factors that may cause of this big issue? One of that is the influence of the media. It is the powerful one that opens the minds of teenagers about sexual intercourse specially the pornography that portays sexual subject matter for the exclusive purpose of sexual arousal that may be presented in a variety of media, magazines, books, writings, film, video, and video games where teenagers may be encounter. Other factors are poverty, family problems, and lack of education and may lead for the teenagers out of their track and choose their lives to be meaningless.

Some of teenage mother struggles a lot because the father of their child does not stand up for their pregnancy and others are just victims of abuse. Young mothers are afraid that their parents may not accept their early pregnancy and abandon them so they would rather choose to abort the child inside their womb.

This issue would be avoided if every parents are always monitoring their siblings and dicipline them well. Having time with them and keeping them always at the right path. Advising them to finish their studies first before anything else because every opportunity has a time. A parents should be a good model to their son's and daughter's so that they can be a model and a good parents to their becoming childrens too.
