I love that my eye surgery was largely worth it, and that my new glasses were also worth it bc I was halfway up the mezzanine, with pretty good sight lines of the stage and also just shockingly clear views of Rachel McAdams and her beautifully expressive face. And how that truly is in service of the performance and the material. There was something about the Mary Jane and the performance that made me think of Nora from A Dolls House, and idk how much of that is down to the fact that Amy Herzog wrote this original play and also adapted the Ibsen play.

Serial is interesting and kind of funny bc at least this current season consists of Sarah Koenig finding the absolute biggest morons in Guantanamo Bay and framing their stories as “how was he supposed to know x y z was wrong”, about stuff anybody with half a brain would know not to do. Like lying to military police and the FBI. Or like. Cutting corners while gathering military intelligence. Or any number of things. God bless her!
