No but like- I KNOW we sound crazy. I know that outsiders would see this as tinhatting, but the thing is...there is a pattern for when they're leading up to a huge announcement about their personal lives. They don't just drop a bombshell on us out of nowhere. They do drawn-out soft launches where they slowly start dropping more and more hints and that's what's been happening since even before the DAPG return. We've seen this pattern with the move to the 2nd London apartment, coming out, and the phouse. Dan and Phil are intentional. They wouldn't just drastically change their behavior publicly like this for no reason. It's clearly leading up to something. The question is what

the thing that really solidifies phil as a bona fide fanfic reader and writer in my opinion is when he calls oz “the band member” in one of the scenes. damn. classic m/m move. randomly employing a metonym to refer to one of the characters as a way to avoid pronoun confusion? so fanfiction of him. this wasn’t his first fic and probably wasn’t his last either. good for him.
