Ah, I meant to say this as soon as the event was over (stuff started coming up,sorry!), but thanks so much to everyone who participated. I hope everyone had fun with it, and like the results!

Anyway, I’d love to hear from anyone who would like to participate again, especially about when I should run it again. I mean, I could always run it for posting on Valentine’s day again, but that seems like it might be a bit soon... Anyway, any feedback would be very welcome!

And again, thank you to everyone who participated. Personally I think the results were fantastic. ^^

sorry this is so late!!! here is my coloured version of @harmless-as-meteors’ lineart for the @lesmisartcollab !!! i’m not super great at digital colouring but i couldn’t work out a nice way of transferring it to watercolour paper to work on… i hope you like it anyway!!!

I’m out of town, but here is my contribution to the @lesmisartcollab ! I got @tamakyuart‘s lines. It was fun to color something so different than I’m used to, and I’m glad there’s finally a Fantine on my blog!

Well, it’s finally time to post my pieces for @lesmisartcollab! First up I have this Eposette drawing by @soliloquies-and-sweets… I’ve been itching to try some stuff with my digital watercolor technique, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity for it. I think it looks pretty convincing now? Anyway, I hope you like what I did with it!

And here’s my other piece for @lesmisartcollab, an illustration of a line from the book by @threadbaremillionaire which seemed perfect to try a technique on which I’ve been itching to do. Which… Didn’t really go as planned, but I think I like the result anyway? I was trying to go for the scene being lit just by moonlight… Not sure how well I managed that, but hey.

I participated in the awesome  Les Mis Art Collab and got to colour @porktato‘s lineart: a fantasy!AU Jehan with a little mouse. 

I had great fun colouring this, I’m so happy to get to be a part of this special collab, thanks for organising everything!

speaking of the line art; it’s fkin amazing look at it i am in love!! And it was alot of fun to colour in! I’ve never actually drawn Jehan and therefore I wasn’t really sure about the colours at first so I hope this will suffice!

Raise a skull to freedom Something they can never take away No matter what they tell us

So I finally managed to finish my second part of the @lesmisartcollab and this time this wonderful lineart was done by @pilferingapples.

So if you had seen my first one which is right here, you’d notice that the colouring styles differ greatly. It’s not out of favouritism I’d donethis but I wanted the colouring style to fit the art style and this particular lineart I was given gave me a more watercolour portrait effect. It really was a lot of fun to work on this though and I loved seeing these versions of Bahorel, Courfeyrac and Jehan.

Thanks so much for such an enjoyable art collab! I hope you like what I did with it!

Here’s  finished version of my collab in @lesmisartcollab

The lineart was done by @manliestmaninkumla and I did the colouring. I had a lot of fun working on this. 

Quick storytime, I had a bit of trouble with colouring this since the art style is new and different to mine but I ended up winging it and going all “let’s try for a poster effect” couple of moments later here I am.
